Abstract
Este trabajo de fin de máster trata sobre la traducción de tres cuentos seleccionados de la colección “Estimados insectos y otros cuentos espeluznantes” de autora Maša Kolanović al español moderno. Consta de tres partes principales; en la primera parte del trabajo se encuentra el marco teórico que se dedica a la teoría de la traducción, especialmente la traducción literaria, y el significado de la autora y su obra. Luego sigue un breve prólogo y la traducción de los tres cuentos seleccionadas (Enterrados vivos, El cofre e Infinito). La última parte del trabajo presenta el análisis de la traducción y se divide en dos categorías principales: problemas léxicos y problemas extralingüísticos.
Abstract (croatian)
Ovaj diplomski rad bavi se prijevodom triju izabranih priča iz zbirke zvane Poštovani kukci i druge jezive priče autorice Maše Kolanović na moderan španjolski jezik. Sastoji se od tri glavna dijela; u prvom dijelu rada je teorijski okvir koji predstavlja teoriju prevođenja, posebice književnog prevođenja, te značaj autorice i njezinog dijela. Zatim slijedi kratki prolog i sam prijevod triju izabranih priča (Živi zakopani, Škrinja i Beskraj). Zadnji dio rada bavi se analizom prijevoda i podijeljen je na dvije glavne kategorije – leksički problemi i izvanjezični problemi.
Abstract (english)
This MA thesis deals with the translation of three selected stories from the collection titled “Dear Insects and Other Scary Stories“ by the author Maša Kolanović into modern Spanish. It consists of three main parts; in the first part of the paper, there is a theoretical framework that presents the theory of translation, especially literary translation, and the significance of the author and her work. Then follows a short prologue and the actual translation of the three selected stories (Živi zakopani, Škrinja and Beskraj). The last part of the paper deals with the analysis of the translation and is divided into two main categories – lexical problems and extra-linguistic problems.
