Nowadays, life is unimaginable without using different digital devices which are considered as things that make our life easier. With developing digital technology, other electronic media which makes receiving different information from all around world easier is in growth. However, with phenomenon and impulsive development of digital technology, public discussions about influence of digital technology on human lives and its huge involvement in everyday life are turning up. Also, there is big attention on subject which is influence of electronic media and modern technology in children's life, who represent the most sensitive part of population. During the usage of digital devices and different modern media, it is important that children know how to use it properly, so that the correct usage can stop the negative media influence. It is also important that parents, as the first and most important educators know how to use digital technology and media correctly so that they can teach their children how to use their devices and media (which are benefits of modern era and future) usefully because we witness every day that technology is developing rapidly. The correct parental upbringing and knowledge of using media will enable children to use their electronic devices safely and responsibly, so the mentioned using will then be filled with critical opinion and analising media content, and there is also an possibility of creating personal media topic. In the first part of this paper, the goal is to present the modern, digital technology, digital devices and media contents which children use, furthermore, point out the importance of media literacy and parents' role during their kid's usage of digital devices and media. According to involvement of digital devices in children's lives, in second part of this paper, in the research, the implication of technology in children functioning from parents' perspective is going to be noted.
