The aim of this final work is to present morphological characteristics of nouns in the local dialect of Otok near Sinj. The materials for this work were collected on the territory of the municipality of Otok in August, 2020. In the first chapters information about geographical position of Otok is brought, and emphasized its affiliation to the Štokavian group of dialects as well as the Neo-Štokavian Ikavian dialect. The third chapter describes phonological, morphological, syntactic and lexical characteristics of the Otok's local dialect. Accent paradigms are also important for this topic, so in the following chapter, the description of the local dialect was briefly given into the basic characteristics of each accent paradigm separately. During the analysis of nouns in the last chapter, relevant characteristics were observed in the local dialect of Otok. The first of them is syncretism in DLI pl. which is valid for all kinds of nouns. Numerous examples of short plural were observed in nouns of masculine gender and the lenght in the ending of G pl. I sg. of the masculine gender there is no umlaut. Palatalization and sibilarization are consistently implemented in V sg. and NDVLI short plural a-declension nouns, while in e-declension nouns sibilarization is not implemented in DL sg. in the local dialect of Otok. After the analysis of the inflection of nouns, an example of each accent paradigm is presented and analyzed, along with the characteristics of the same. During the analysis of accent and accent paradigms, some similarities were noticed, as well as the differences in relation to the already investigated local dialects in these areas.
