In dieser Arbeit wird Fausts Streben nach einem höheren Gut sowie seine Vertiefung seiner eigenen Fähigkeiten dargestellt. Man sehnt sich nach dem, was man nicht haben kann und auf diesem Weg kommt man zu einem Wendepunkt, an dem man zwischen Gut und Böse wählen muss. Zu Faust und zu allen anderen Menschen ist dieser Weg bekannt, da jeder von uns diesen inneren Kampf hat, in dem man alle Geheimnisse dieser Welt kennenlernen möchte, während man andererseits der Konsequenzen bewusst ist. In diesem Moment ist man bereit für alle Risiken, denn es ist nur wichtig, dass man glücklich ist. Aber dieses Glück, das alle anstreben und das man glaubt, dass es in der Zukunft alle Anforderungen erfüllen will, ist bloße Täuschung. Das Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, Faust als sterbliches Wesen zu analysieren, das lediglich versucht, sein Verlangen zu erfüllen. Auf seinem Beispiel kann man sehen, dass er auf seinem Weg zur Erkenntnis einen Fehler gemacht hat. So viel man weiß und wissen kann, ist es klar, dass man nicht alle Geheimnisse dieser Welt kennen kann. Menschen sind überwältigt von diesem Wissen, dass man alle Maßnahmen ergreift, um eigenes Zeil zu erreichen. Manchmal muss man eigene Bestrebungen zum Wohl der Menschheit seitens legen. Mithilfe der Interpretation, der Sekundärliteratur und Goethes Werk ist dieses Werk hervorgebracht. Ziel ist es, die Fähigkeit zur kritischen Analyse zu schaffen und zum Vergleich auch die eigene Meinung zu äußern.

This paper outlines Faust’s quest for a higher good as well as deepening his own abilities. One yearns for what he cannot have and on that path comes to a turning point, where one must choose between good and evil. To Faust and to all other people this way is well known because each of us has this inner struggle, where one would like to know all the secrets of this world, while on the other hand one is aware of the consequences for the individual as well as others. At this moment one is ready for all risks because it is only essential that the individual is happy. But that happiness that everyone is striving for and that one thinks will fulfill all the requirement in the future is mere deception. The goal of this paper is to analyze Faust as a mortal being, who merely seeks to fulfill his desire. On his example, one can see that he made a mistake in his journey to cognition. As much as they know and have the ability to know, they can not know all the secrets of this world. People are overwhelmed by this knowledge, that they take all measures to reach their own goal. Sometimes one has to put his aspiration aside for the benefit of humanity. The method of interpretation, secondary literature, and Goethe’s work had produced this final work. The goal is to create the capacity for critical analysis as well as presenting one’s own opinion as a comparison.
