The content of my master’s thesis is the events of the late 60s and early 70s of the twentieth century. The master’s thesis will be about the political events that preceded the croatian spring, about the croatian spring and finally the croatian spring in the city of Zadar and its mayor Kažimir Zanki. The fact is that the above mention events are the most important in Croatia's history during the SFRY. Charges and labeling that came mostly from Serbs have greatly influenced the development of the events themselves. The Croatian leadership was accused of many things during his politics actions until his dismissal. The linguistic question that emerged in the 60s of the twentieth century was a great shock to the rather unstable situation in the SFRY. Namely, the leading unitary circles have framed every consideration about language as nationalist and chauvinistic outcry of leading scientists in the Matica hrvatska. Croatian spring came to the public and in some leading political circles to approval, who saw that the SFRY needed reform. The younger politicians who better understood the economic policy were just looking for the prosperity of their republic. Convinced by the ideas and the developed awareness of belonging to the Croatian people, the spirit of spring came to Zadar where his climb was under the leadership, freely speaking, of the legendary mayor Kažimir Zanki. Nevertheless, unitary circles in the SFRY managed to prevent the further development and liberalization of the political system and thus interrupted all developments in Croatia.
