The paper focuses on the theoretical definition of play, shows roles of child development, and moves on to the main point, which is the application of play in the teaching of Nature and Society. Play in teaching encourages logical thinking, reasoning, memory, competitive spirit, awareness of one's own personality traits that develop an ethical and aesthetic experience. Example of a game in the subject of Nature and Society, students will be able to better understand the teaching content, develop practical work and practical thinking, and will be able to apply all the information used during the practical work in their environment. The aim of the research was to examine the attitudes of primary school teachers about the representation of games in teaching, and the contribution of games in teaching and how much the game facilitates learning. We asked teachers what their opinion about applicable games in teaching is, do they use it everyday and in which subjects do they apply it the most. Data were collected on a sample of 51 primary school teachers in Lika-Senj County. The results of the research show that teachers often play in class, mostly in the subject Nature and Society.
