Abstract
Cilj istraživanja u ovom radu je identificirati probleme upotrebljivosti sustava Microsoft Teamsa koristeći metodu heurističke evaluacije s 10 Nielsenovih heuristika. Svrha istraživanja je na temelju evaluacije predložiti preporuke za redizajn Microsoft Teamsa. Microsoft Teams je komunikacijski kanal putem kojeg korisnici mogu međusobno komunicirati u bilo koje vrijeme i na bilo kojem mjestu, te je obogaćen mnoštvom funkcionalnosti putem kojih korisnici mogu poboljšati i svoje informacijsko... More komunikacijske vještine. Osim što postoji desktop aplikacija Microsoft Teamsa koja se može instalirati na računalo, postoji mobilna i mrežna aplikacija. Mrežna aplikacija može poslužiti korisnicima koji često ne koriste Teams jer ima samo osnovne funkcionalnosti. Da bi korisnik mogao bez ometanja i frustracija koristiti takav i dolaziti do željenih ciljeva, Teams treba biti upotrebljiv i zadovoljavati temeljna načela upotrebljivosti. Da bi ispitali je li sustav MS Teams upotrebljiv, provedena je metoda heurističke evaluacija (eng. heuristic evaluation). Istraživanje je provelo troje evaluatora, a to su tri studentice preddiplomskog studija koje su prethodno stekle iskustvo provođenja heurističke evaluacije na kolegiju Interakcija čovjek-računalo. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su određene probleme upotrebljivosti. Najviše povreda heuristika bilo je kod heuristika: H5 Sprječavanje pogrešaka (eng. Error prevention), H6 Prepoznavanje umjesto prisjećanja (eng. Recognition rather than recall), H7 Fleksibilnost i učinkovitost korištenja (eng. Flexibility and efficiency of use) i H8 Estetski i minimalistički dizajn (eng. Aesthetic and minimalist design). Nakon identificiranja glavnih problema upotrebljivosti, predložene su preporuke za redizajn koje se mogu dodatno provjeriti u budućim opsežnijim istraživanjima upotrebljivosti sustava MS Teams. Less
Abstract (english)
The goal of this research is to identify usability problems of the Microsoft Teams system, conducting heuristic evaluation with 10 Nielsen’s heuristics. The main purpose of this research is to suggest recommendations for the redesign of the Microsoft Teams system, based on the research results from the heuristic evaluation. Microsoft Teams is a communication channel through which users can communicate with each other at any time and in any place. It is also enriched with many... More functionalities which allow users to improve their information and communication skills. In addition to the Microsoft Teams desktop application which can be installed on a computer, there is a mobile and network application. A network application can serve users who do not often use Teams because it only has basic functionality. For the user to be able to use such a system without distractions and frustrations and reach the desired goals, Teams should be usable and meet all the usability principles. To evaluate whether the MS Teams system is usable, heuristic evaluation method was conducted. Three evaluators conducted the research, all undergraduate students who previously gained experience with heuristic evaluation in the Human-Computer Interaction course. The results of this research show certain usability problems. The most violations of heuristics were with heuristics: H5 Error prevention, H6 Recognition rather than recall, H7 Flexibility and efficiency of use, and H8 Aesthetic and minimalist design. After identifying the main usability issues, redesign recommendations are proposed that can be further verified in future more extensive usability studies of the MS Teams system. Less
