Abstract
U diplomskom radu u početku se govori o pravopisu, podjeli pravopisa, povijesti pravopisa i pravopisima koji se danas koriste. U središtu rada govori se o metodičkom pristupu, načelima i metodičkom sustavu u nastavi hrvatskog jezika, posebice o metodičkom pristupu u nastavi pravopisa i udžbeniku hrvatskog jezika. U završnom dijelu rada provedeno je istraživanje o usvojenosti pravopisnih pravila učenika četvrtog razreda na kraju školske godine. Empirijskim istraživanjem je provjerena usvojenost pravopisnih pravila: velikog i malog slova, posvojnih pridjeva od vlastitih imena i kratica. Rezultati pokazuju da je većina učenika usvojila pravopisna pravila

Parallel abstract (English)
In the starting lines of the thesis there will be word concerning orthography (spelling), spelling division checking, spelling history, and orthographies used in the present (today). The central part of the thesis discuses methodical approach, principles and methodical composition in the teaching of Croatian language, and it especially refers to the methodical approach in the teaching of orthography and Croatian language textbook. In the final part of the thesis, a survey has been conducted, concerning the level of acquisition of the spelling rules among the fourth grade students at the end of the school year. Empirical study checked (inspected), the level of implementation of the spelling rules like: capital and small letters, possessive adjective, proper names and abbreviations. The results show that the most of the students accepted the orthographic rules.
