Abstract Ekstraverzija je crta ličnosti koju reprezentiraju uski konstrukti poput socijabilnosti, aktivnosti, impulzivnosti, pa čak i osjetljivosti na nagradu (Lebedina Manzoni, 2007). Ekstravezija kao dimenzija ličnosti, počevši od Jungova modela ( Watson i Clark, 1997), kroz dugi niz godina predstavlja jedan od najvažnijih i najkonzistentnijih konstrukata sve do dan danas i HEXACO-PI-R skale (Ashton i Lee, 2007) kojom je i mjerena u ovom istraživanju. Samokritičnost predstavlja samoevaluacijski
The Forms of Self- Criticising/Attacking and Self Reassuring Scale; Gilbert, Clarke, Hempel Miles i Irons, 2004), HEXACO-PI-R upitnik (Babarović i Šverko, 2013) kojima smo zahvatili ekstraverziju i samokritičnost. Less
Abstract (english) Extraversion is a basic personality trait which is represented by narrow constructs such as sociability, impulsivity and even sensitivity (i.e. getting an award) (Lebedina Manzoni, 2007). Extraversion, as a personality trait, starting from Jung's model (Watson i Clark, 1997) has been one the most important and consistent constructs even to this present day and the HEXACO scale done by Ashton and Lee (2007) which was used in this research. Selfcriticism represents self-evaluating
... More process within which an individual judges different aspects of self (Sharar, 2015) repeatedly, experiencing fear from criticizing and non-approval from their social environment (Blatt, 2004). The objective of this research was to define relationship between extraversion and self-criticism among University students. The parameters: The Forms of Self- Criticising/Attacking and Self Reassuring Scale (Gilbert, Clarke, Hempel Miles and Irons, 2004) and HEXACO-PI-R scale (Babarović and Šverko, 2013) were used to estimate extraversion and self-criticism on 317 university students using an on-line survey. The survey shows negative correlation of extraversion and self-criticism within both male and female students – individuals that show higher levels of extraversion have lower levels of self-criticism. While the difference on the level of exposure of extraversion between male and female university students was not defined, it did show that female students have higher levels of self-criticism compared to male students.
