Abstract
Odnosi s javnošću vaţni su u ureĊenju odnosa unutar svake organizacije i izvan nje. Oni su komunikacijski kanal koji je upućen na razvijanje odnosa sa svim društvenim i poslovnim skupinama o kojima izravno ili neizravno ovisi uspjeh djelovanja institucije i zbog toga je vaţan naĉin na koji su uspostavljeni. Stoga su istinitost, dosljednost, profesionalnost, kreativnost i vremensko planiranje temelji svakih odnosa s javnošću. U svom završnom radu bavim se tehnikama odnosa s javnošću koje se najviše upotrebljavaju u radu i djelovanju muzeja. Ovaj završni rad se sastoji od uvoda, teorijskog dijela o odnosima s javnošću i muzejima, njihovim povijesnim razvojem i ulogom danas. Na kraju su opisane pojedine tehnike i aktivnosti koje odnosi s javnošću primjenjuju u pojedinim muzejima

Public relations are important in regulating the relations within each organization and outside of. They are channel of communication which is directed on the development of relations with all social and professional groups of which, directly or indirectly, depends the success of the institution and therefore it is important the way in which communication is established. Therefore, the veracity, consistency, professionalism, creativity and timing are base of every public relations. In his final thesis I will deal with most used techniques of public relations in the work and activities of the museum. This final thesis consists of introduction, theoretical part of public relations and museums, its historical development and the important role today. At the end are described individual techniques and activities that public relations apply in certain museums.
