Abstract
Odnosi s javnošću su struka čiji djelatnici za cilj imaju stvaranje i održavanje imidža organizacije za koju rade. To je funkcija koja ima jako bitnu ulogu u suvremenom društvu. Danas gotovo svaka organizacija ima odjel za odnose s javnošću. Odnosi s javnošću također su neizostavni dio i politike, svaka stranka, predsjednik ili važnija politička ličnost ima svog predstavnika za javnost. Na posljednjim predsjedničkim izborima u Republici Hrvatskoj koji su se održali krajem 2014. godine i početkom 2015. godine bila su četiri predsjednička kandidata i svaki od njih je imao svoj tim PR stručnjaka. Cilj ovog istraživanja je istražiti i analizirati naslove, vijesti, objave i govore predsjedničkih kandidata na posljednjim predsjedničkim izborima u Republici Hrvatskoj. Analizom je utvrđeno da su se svi kandidati u svojim izjavama i objavama više usmjerili na „napadanje“ svojih protukandidata, nego na iznošenje vlastitiog programa za koji se zalažu, također bilo je i kršenja etičkih pravila i kriterija novinarskog pisanja od strane PR-a. Svi PR timovi trebali su se više usredotočiti na pripremanje svojih predsjedničkih kandidata za javne nastupe te poraditi više na njihovom imidžu.

Public relations is a profession whose employees aimed at creating and maintaining the image of the organization for which they work. This is a function that has a very important role in modern society. Today, almost every organization has a department for public relations. Public relations are also an indispensable part of politics, any party, president or important political figure have representative for the public. At the last presidential elections in Croatia which were held in late 2014. and early 2015., there were four presidential candidates and each of them had its own team of PR experts. The aim of this study is to research and analyze the news, publications and speeches of presidential candidates in the last presidential election in the Republic of Croatia. The analysis shows that all the candidates in their statements and disclosures are more focused on "attacking" his opponent, but to present their own program for which they stand, also there were violations of ethical rules and criteria of journalistic writing by PR.
