Abstract
Ce mémoire a pour l’objectif d’analyser les procédés utilisés dans la traduction du film Baden Baden, ainsi qu’offrir une traduction croate du film et adresser les problèmes qui arrivent en traduisant ce film. La première partie du mémoire aborde la partie théorique : une introduction générale dans le domaine de la traduction audiovisuelle, avec l’accent sur le sous-titrage. La deuxième partie offre une traduction croate du film Baden Baden, en forme des sous-titres, ainsi qu’une traduction d’une partie de l’article La traduction audiovisuelle : un genre en expansion, écrit par Yves Gambier. Finalement, ce qui suit est une analyse de la traduction du film : en premier lieu, les problèmes généraux retrouvés en traduisant les dialogues du film, et en second lieu, la classification des procédés utilisés en traduisant le film, accompagnée des exemples.
Abstract (english)
The following thesis seeks to analyze the procedures used while translating the film Baden Baden, as well as offer a translation of the same film and address the problems encountered whilst translating. Firstly, the thesis offers theoretical background and provides insight into what the domain audiovisual translation is, focusing mainly on the area of subtitling. It examines the problems encountered when creating subtitles and presents different classifications of procedures used in audiovisual translation. Secondly, the thesis offers a translation of the film Baden Baden and a translation of a part of Yves Gambier’s article on audiovisual translation. Finally, what follows is an analysis of the film’s Croatian translation, with a focus on the procedures used, based on a classification by Lukasz Bogucki.

Cilj ovog diplomskog rada je analizirati prevoditeljske postupke korištene prilikom prevođenja filma Baden Baden, te ponuditi prijevod istoimenog filma i osvrnuti se na probleme s kojima se prevoditelj susreo. Najprije slijedi teorijski dio, u kojem je definirano audiovizualno prevođenje, s fokusom na domenu podslovljavanja. Predstavljeni su problemi na koje se nailazi tijekom podslovljavanja i navode se razne klasifikacije prevoditeljskih postupaka u audiovizualnom prevođenju. Zatim je ponuđen prijevod filma Baden Baden, te prijevod dijela članka Yvesa Gambiera o audiovizualnom prevođenju. Naposljetku slijedi analiza hrvatskog prijevoda filma, kod koje su u središtu prevoditeljski postupci temeljeni na klasifikaciji Lukasza Boguckog.
