Abstract
Studenti danas žive i u zahtjevnoj razvnojnoj psihološkoj fazi i u izazovnim vremenima. Ne iznenađuje što različite studije javljaju o višim razinama nezadovoljstva vlastitim mentalnim zdravljem. Stoga, rastuća je potreba za informiranjem s kvalitetnim, relevantnim i praktičnim informacijama o zdravlju općenito, posebice o mentalnom zdravlju. U ovom istraživanju anketirali smo studente Sveučilišta u Zadru o njihovim informacijskim potrebama vezanima uz mentalno zdravlje. Rezultati sugeriraju kako percipiraju taj dio vlastitog života izazovnim, te se oslanjaju pronaći korisne informacije o mentalnog zdravlju u online okružju. Studenti pokazuju izvjesnu razinu zdravstvene informacijske pismenosti, ali stanje može biti bolje. Jedan mogući način poboljšanja je povećati vidljivost i ulogu koje Studentsko savjetovalište igra na Sveučilištu.
Abstract (english)
Students live in both a demanding psychological development stage and challenging times. No wonder that various studies find higher rate of dissatisfaction related to one's mental health. Thus, there is ever stronger need to inform oneself with quality, relevant and practial information about health in general, and the mental health. In this research we surveyed Zadar University students about their information need related to mental health. The results suggest they perceive this part of their life to be challenging and rely to find helpful mental health related information online. Students show certain level of health information literacy, but thing could be better. One possible way is to ehance existing visibility and role that Students counseling center has at the University.
