Abstract | Tijekom odrastanja djetetove stavove, obrasce ponašanja, tko će ono postati i načine na koji će jednoga dana djelovati u društvu oblikuje mnogo podražaja; od bliskih mu osoba iz obitelji, preko vršnjaka do sve više prisutnih medija. Radi medija saznanja o svijetu su mu na dlanu. Tko će ono biti saznaje istraživanjem, od iskustava osoba iz okoline, priča iz uže i šire obitelji, preko čitanja tiskovina (knjiga, časopisa, novina), pretraživanja internetske tražilice, gledanja televizije, do igranja računalnih igara i videoigara ili aktivnosti na društvenim mrežama na kojima za nove oblike zanimanja saznaje od influencera. Kako bi se dijete na najkvalitetniji naĉin ostvarilo, potrebni su mu stabilni uzori čiju će podršku osjećati i s kojima će se moći identificirati, a potom i obrazovanje. S obzirom na to da je na stručnjacima usmjeriti potencijal svakoga djeteta te raditi na poboljšanju obrazovnog sustava, višestruko je važno istraživati tematiku težnja i saznati tko je djetetu privlačan i za koja se područja ono zanima. Ovo je istraživanje povedeno u zadarskoj Osnovnoj školi Stanovi na uzorku od 89 učenika koji čine 47 učenika četvrtoga razreda i 42 učenika osmoga razreda. Odgovori na pitanja iz prvog dijela intervjua ukazuju na to da su ispitanici mnogo više skloniji korištenju novih medija od tradicionalnih medija te da se vrijeme provedeno na internetu i na društvenim mrežama, u razne svrhe, s dobi povećava. Od tradicionalnih medija djeca najčešće koriste televiziju, odnosno pametnu televiziju. Potom, u drugom dijelu intervjua, saznalo se da što su učenici stariji, to više prate objave influencera. Svoje uzore pronalaze u influencerima koji se bave umjetničkim zanimanjima, sportom i snimanjem sadržaja za YouTube. Osobito su im privlačni ako su uspješni u onomu što rade i ako se mogu identificirati radi osobina koje percipiraju pozitivnima. Spektar zanimanja koja smatraju najboljima za sebe, kod učenika iz oba razreda, je raznolik; informiraju se od osoba iz okoline i online. Kod dječaka dominiraju zanimanja iz područja sporta, građevinarstva, a od modernih zanimanja najželjenije je postati YouTuber. S druge strane, djevojčice su zainteresirane za rad s ljudima ili s životinjama te za obrazovanje. Svima je bitno raditi ono što vole te da imaju mogućnosti formalnog i neformalnog obrazovanja. Istraživanje također ukazuje na potrebu za kreativnim razvojem medijske pismenosti, kao i potrebu za jačanjem kritičkog odnošenja prema pojavama koje se mogu zateći prilikom korištenja medija. |
Abstract (english) | Throughout the process of development, a child's attitudes, behaviours, future identity, and social conduct are influenced by a wide range of stimulation, ranging from immediate family members and peers to the widespread availability of media. The individual in question possesses significant influence over the media, thereby granting him access to a wealth of information regarding his place within the global community. The identification of potential career paths can be achieved through various means, such as conducting research, seeking insights from individuals within one's social circle, reviewing familial personal stories, exploring print and digital media sources, including books, magazines, newspapers, and online search engines, as well as engaging in recreational activities, such as video gaming or social networking, where gaining knowledge about career options through influencers is possible. For a child to achieve optimal self-realization, it is crucial that they have access to stable role models who provide support and with whom they can identify, followed by an excellent educational experience. The responsibility of directing the potential of each child and improving the education system lies with the experts. Therefore, conducting research on the topic of objectives, including identifying the individuals who have an influence on the child and the areas of interest, holds significant importance. The study was carried out at Stanovi Elementary School in Zadar, applying a sample size of 89 students, which includes 47 fourth-grade and 42 eighth-grade students. Based on the findings of the interview, it was discovered that the participants exhibit an increased tendency towards utilizing new media as opposed to traditional media. Additionally, it was observed that the duration of time spent on the Internet and social networking platforms for various purposes tends to increase with age. One of the conventional forms of media is watching television, which has undergone significant improvements and has been transformed into smart television technology. Subsequent to the latter portion of the interview, it was concluded that students have exhibited a growing tendency to track the online activities of influencers and regard them as instances; particularly those affiliated with artistic pursuits, sports, and content for the YouTube platform. Individuals are more likely to find others appealing if they exhibit success in their efforts and possess characteristics that are perceived as beneficial. The range of occupations that individuals deem optimal for themselves is varied. They acquire information from both their immediate surroundings and the internet. Notably, males tend to favour professions related to sports and construction, while the most sought-after influencer profession is that of a YouTuber. On the other hand, females exhibit a greater interest in professions that involve working with people, animals, and education. It is imperative for individuals to pursue their passions and have access to both structured and unstructured learning experiences. The research findings highlight the necessity of encouraging innovative approaches to enhance media literacy as well as encourage enhanced consciousness and a determining mindset towards phenomena that may arise during media usage. |
