Abstract
Iako muzeji, čak i kod dobrog dijela odrasle i obrazovanije populacije, nose konotaciju nedovoljno zabavnog mjesta na kojem je pohranjena starija građa, ne začuđuje činjenica kako će rijetko kada djeca samostalno inicirati odlazak u muzej u slobodno vrijeme. Međutim, moguće je konstatirati kako se takva percepcija muzeja mijenja, te uz pojačavanje svijesti o važnosti baštine koja je pohranjena u muzejima, bilo kao dio kulturnog identiteta, bilo kao nekakav interaktivni sadržaj koji posjetitelje... More upoznaje sa specifičnim dostignućima ljudske djelatnosti, dolazi i do promjene predodžbe koju opća populacija o muzejima načelno. Ovo je dobrim dijelom moguće zahvaliti komunikacijskim strategijama muzeja, koje se odvijaju različitim kanalima. Ujedno, pojava i uređenje muzeja u ustanove koje nude interaktivne sadržaje koji na adekvatan način djeci približavaju inače kompleksne segmente povijesti, tehničkih dostignuća, prirodnih znanosti, oni postaju mjestom na koja djeca rado odlaze i kod njih se javlja zanimanje za posjećivanjem i drugih ustanova. S obzirom na činjenicu da djeca nisu ta koja, barem do određene dobi, odlučuju o sadržajima koje posjećuju, promociju i komunikaciju je potrebno usmjeriti manje izravno na samu djecu, a izravnije na roditelje i odgojitelje, tj. pedagoge u čijoj pratnji obilaze muzeje. S druge strane, način prezentacije sadržaja, kao što je interaktivan vid interpretacije, izrada posebnih materijala kao što su slikovnice i ciljano osmišljene ture te radionice primjerene djeci, zasigurno će kod njih razviti dugoročno zanimanje za posjet muzejima. Abstract (english)
Although museums, even among a good part of adult and educated population often carry a connotation of an uninteresting place where the old exhibits are stored, the fact is that children will rarely initiate a visit toa museum. Meanwhile, it is possible to state that such a perception changes with increasing consciousness on stored heritage, whether as a part of their cultural identity, whether as an interactive content which introduces visitors to the specific achievements of human... More achievements, the perception of museums among general public changes. This is largely a result of museums’ communicational strategies through different communicational channels. At the same time, the apparition and arrangement of museums which offer interactive content and approach children in an adequate way some historical events, technical achievements or natural science facts, changes their perception among children as well. Therefore, museums become popular places, they enjoy visits, which contributes to the development of their interest in other museums. Given the act that children are rarely those, at least until a certain age, who make a decision where they go and what they visit, communicational strategy should rather be targeted on parents, educators, that is, pedagogues with whom they visit museums. On the other hand, the manner of content representation, such as an interactive interpretation, production of special materials such as a picture books or specially designed tours and workshops, will without doubt contribute to their long-term interest in museums.
