Abstract
Žene u antičkoj Grčkoj nisu imale veliku slobodu i bile su veoma diskriminirane kako u obitelji tako i u društvu (izuzetak predstavljaju Spartanke). U radu se na temelju antičkih književnih (Kalimah, Plutarh, Pauzanija itd.) kao i materijalnih izvora (kipovi, vaze) prikazuje uloga žena u različitim religioznim obredima u svakodnevnici stare Grčke ovisno o njihovoj dobi i bračnom statusu. Religijski obredi u kojima žene imaju učešća moraju se sagledati u kontekstu patrijahalnog društva s obzirom na određena ograničenja koja su imala pri obavljanju religijskih obreda.
Abstract (english)
Women in ancient Greece didn't have much freedom and faced a high level of discrimination both in their families and in society in general (with the notable exception of Spartan women). Through ancient literary (Callimahus, Plutarch, Pausanias, etc.) and sources based in material culture (statues, vases), the author of this work attemts to illustrate the role of women in religious rituals in the world of ancient Greece depending on their age and marital status. Religious rituals in which women participate must be viewed in the context of their patriarchal society with regard to certain limitations by which they were confined when performing religious rituals.
