U širem smislu obuhvaća gurmanstvo, sladokustvo, a u najširem smislu vezu kulture i hrane, odnosno umjetnost prehrane, kulinarsku umjetnost. Hrana je svaka tvar koja pruža hranjive tvari potrebne za održavanje života i rasta kad se proguta. ... More Rimljani. Hrana i turizam konvergiraju se u širem društvenom diskursu koji se tiče stvaranja identiteta. Kulinarski turizam je okvir za povezivanje skupa pojma perspektive i raznolikosti slučajeva u kojima se načini prehrane smatraju reprezentativnim drugim. Preko hrane možemo izraziti identitet, odnose, ideologije i emocije, kao i ispuniti osnovne fizičke potrebe. Srednjoeuropska kuhinja je specifična po tome što su sastojci u tradicionalnim jelima diktirani su po tome što se može uzgajati u hladnoj, često vlažnoj klimi. Uobičajeni sastojci su krumpir, grah, kupus i vrste povrća kao kupus, repa, jaja, mliječni proizvodi, svinjetina, govedina, riba i morski plodovi iz Baltičkog mora, slatkovodna riba iz lokalnih jezera i rijeka, jabuke, raž, pšenica i ječam. Njemačka je demokratska parlamentarna savezna država koja se sastoji od 13 saveznih država i tri samostalna grada pokrajine. Kuhinja Njemačke je podijeljena na kuhinju Schleswig- Holsteins, Hamburga, Donje Saske, Westfalena, Reinländera, Kölna, Pfälzera, Švaba, Bavarske, Badena, Hessijanaca, Thüringerima, Saksonaca, Berlina, Istočne Pruske, Pomeranaca i Mecklenburgovaca. Austrija je država koja je parlamentarna zastupnička demokracija, ima oko 8,7 milijuna stanovnika i nalazi se u srednjoj Europi. Austrija je podijeljena na regije: Gradišće, Kärnten, Steiermark, Tirol, Vorarlberg, Donja i Gornja Austrija te svaka od njih ima posebna gastronomska obilježja. Švicarska je podijeljena na ukupno 26 kantona te je atraktivno mjesto za zimski turizam. Kuhinja Švicarske je internacionalna i označavaju je utjecaji talijanskih, francuskih i njemačkih regija. U radu je prikazana analiza upitnika koji je napravljen u svrhu uvida kulinarskih jezičnih utjecaja zemalja njemačkog govornog područja na području Hrvatske. Culinary tourism is a framework for linking a set of notions of perspective and diversity of cases in which diets are considered representative to others. Through food we can express identity, relationships, ideologies and emotions, as well as fulfill basic physical needs. Central European cuisine is specific in for the ingredients in traditional dishes which are dictated by the fact that it can be grown in a cold, often humid climate. Common ingredients are potatoes, beans, cabbage and vegetables such as cabbage, beets, eggs, dairy products, pork, beef, fish and seafood from the Baltic Sea, freshwater fish from local lakes and rivers, apples, rye, wheat and barley. Germany is a democratic parliamentary federal state consisting of 13 federal states and three independent cities of the province. German cuisine is divided into the cuisine of Schleswig- Holsteins, Hamburg, Lower Saxony, Westphalia, Reinländer, Cologne, Pfälzer, Swabia, Bavaria, Baden, Hessians, Thüringers, Saxons, Berlin, East Prussia, Pomeranians and Mecklenburg.
