Abstract Širenjem poslovanja na globalnoj razini troškovi logistike drastično počinju rasti pa se javlja potreba za optimizacijom logistike kroz logističke mreže. To je problem svakog poduzeća koje prodaje fizički proizvod, a naročito se očituje u automobilskoj industriji gdje samo određeni licencirani proizvođači mogu proizvesti dijelove koji kasnije moraju biti otpremljeni u sve zemlje svijeta i kooperirati međusobno u svrhu snižavanja troškova logistike i povećanja konkurentnosti. Razvojem informatike i globalne komunikacije danas se koriste vrlo složeni logistički procesi koji se mogu implementirati nakon proučavanja tržišta, problema transporta, skladištenja, lokalne distribucije, isplativosti poslovanja i ostalog. Kroz ovaj rad proučit će se logistika kao znanost, logistički sustavi i logističko planiranje. Proučavanje tih područja olakšava razumijevanje samih logističkih mreža u suvremenom poslovanju, te daje naznake na koji način unaprijediti, optimizirati i proširiti iste u svrhu povećanja produktivnosti, brzine i kvalitete. Automobilska industrija izvrstan je primjer uspješnog vođenja logističkih mreža i inovacija u istim jer su jedna od povijesno najvažnijih logističkih rješenja osmišljena upravo u toj industriji kao što je pokretna traka, Just in time i Jidoka. Jaka konkurencija u automobilskoj industriji uvjetuje brz i kvalitetan razvoj kroz standardizaciju, proizvodnju u razinama, podizanje ukupne kvalitete uotputa, povećanje sigurnosti i produktivnosti, uvođenje raznih inovacija te smanjenje gubitaka. Uz to napravit će se i osvrt na izvanrednu situaciju u logistici uzrokovanu koronavirusom, te procjene razvoja logistike i logističkih mreža u budućnosti.
Abstract (english) With the expansion of business globally, logistics costs are starting to grow drasticliy, so there is a need to optimize logistics through logistics networks. This is a problem of every company that sells a physical product, and is especially evident in the automotive industry where only certain licensed manudacturers can produce parts that mast later be shipped to all countries of the world and cooperate with each other to reduce logistics costs and increase competitiveness. The development of informatics and global communication today uses very complex logistics processes that can be implemented after studying the market, problems of transport, storage, local distribution, business profitability and more. Through this paper, logistics as a science, logistics systems and logistics planning will be studied. The study of these areas facilitates the understanding of the logistics networks in modern business and provides indications on how to improve, optimize and expand them in order to increase productivity, speed and quality. The automotive industry is an excellent example of successful management of logistics networks and innovations in same because one of the most historically important logistics solutions were designed in this industry such as the conveyor belt, Just in time and Jidoka. Strong competition in the automotive industry requires rapid and high quality development through standardization, production in levels, raising the overall quality, increasing safety and productivity, introducing various innovations and reducing losses. In addition, a review of the emergency situation in logistics caused by coronavirus will be made, as well as assessments of the development of logistics and logistics networks in the future.
