Abstract
Vijčane pumpe su u svojim početcima služile za navodnjavanje. Danas je to pumpa koju najčešće koristimo za viskozne tekućine, ali i za mnoge druge vrste tekućina. Današnji izbor vijčanih pumpi sve je veći i veći, te su nam sve snažnije i rade s manje gubitaka, a pri tom zauzimaju sve manje prostora što je jako bitno kod brodskih vijčanih pumpi. Izbor vijčanih pumpi ovisi o namjeni i sustavu u kojem se nalazi. U brodskim sustavima najčešće se koriste u namjeni za dobavu goriva i ulja za podmazivanje. U brodskim postrojenjima najviše se upotrebljavaju vijčane IMO pumpe i Mono pumpe. Vijčana pumpa je rotacijska pumpa s aksijalnim prostorima, te dobro reagira u radu s različitim brzinama vrtnje i može pumpati i krute tvari.
Abstract (english)
Screw pumps were originally used for irrigation. Today, it is the pump we most often use for viscous liquids, but also for many other types of liquids. Today's selection of screw pumps is getting bigger and bigger, so they are more and more powerful and work with less losses, while taking up less and less space, which is very important with marine screw pumps. The choice of screw pumps depends on the purpose and system in which it is used. In marine systems, they are most often used for the purpose of supplying fuel and lubricating oil. In ship installations, IMO screw pumps and Mono pumps are mostly used. The screw pump is a rotary pump with axial spaces, and responds well to operation at different speeds and can also pump solids.
