Abstract
Vrlo bitni elementi poslovanja poduzeća su upravljanje rizicima, gdje se pravilnom upotrebom određenih elemenata smanjuje nastanak negativnih okolnosti. Prilikom postavljanja misije, vizije i strategije poduzeća postoje mnoge zamke, te se mogu pojaviti rizici. Postoje vanjski i unutarnji rizici koji se mogu pojaviti, a na koje se ne može utjecati, te menadžeri traže napovoljnija rješenja za identificiranje i analiziranje rizika. Kod poslovanja hedge fondova važno je da su zakonski regulirani, kako ne bi došlo do nepovoljnih utjecaja u njihovom poslovanju. Hedge fondovi predstavljaju posebnu vrstu investicijskih fondova čije poslovanje u konačnici nije do kraja zakonski regulirano, te se često vezuju za nešto negativno. Kod upravljanja rizikom se izbjegava ponavljanje istih pogrešaka koje je tvrtka počinila u prošlosti, izrada najboljih scenarija za izbjegavanje mogućih šteta, ali često ni to nije dovoljno. Važno je za svako poduzeće imati sposoban tim menadžera koji će svojim znanjima i vještinama okrenuti rizike u pozitivnu korist. Hedging koristi na tržištu različite derivate kako bi smanjili moguće gubitke kod povećanja cijene, te povećali svoja ulaganja. Financijska poluga se koristi prilikom hedgiranja, jer se onda ne mijenja trenutna pozicija ulagača, a osvajaju se druge pozicije. Raspostranjenost azijskih i pacifičkih hedge fondova ne zaostaje za hedge fondovima u svijetu.
Abstract (english)
The most important essential element through company's business is Risk Management, and the proper use of certain elements reduces the occurrence of negative circumstances. There are many pitfalls to setting a mission, vision and strategy for a business where risks can rise. There are external and internal risks that may rise and can't be influenced, and managers seek better solutions to identify and analyze risks. For hedge funds business is important to be regulated in order to avoid adverse effects on their operations. Hedge funds are a special type of mutual funds whose business is not ultimately regulated by law, and are often tied to something negative. Risk Management avoids repeating the same mistakes a company has made in the past, creating the best scenarios to avoid potential harm, but often not enough. For every company is valuable to have a capable team of managers who will turn the risks to a positive benefit with their knowledge and skills. Hedging uses a variety of derivatives in the market to reduce potential losses in price increases and increase it's investments. Financial leverage is used when hedging, because then the current investor position doesn't change and other positions are won. The spread in Asian and Pacific hedge funds is not far behind of rest hedge funds in the world.
