Abstract Diese Masterarbeit betont den Belang der Bildungswert der Ambivalenz und Widerstandsfähigkeit in Werken Savonarola, Die Albigenser und Faust von Nikolas Lenau, einen berühmten Österreichischen Schriftsteller der Biedermeier. Als ein Zeuge der Wahrheit wies der Schriftsteller an dem Problem der gesellschaftlichen Zensur und möglicher Zweideutigkeit jeder Situation. Um die Zensur selbst zu vermeiden, stellte Lenau Zeitgenossenschaft mit Hilfe allegorischer mittelalterlichen Geschichten dar und übte damit indirekte Kritik der Regierung und Gesellschaft. Die drei Werken, die in dieser Diplomarbeit behandelt werden, erzählen Geschichten aus unterschiedlichen Zeitspannen, dessen Themata immer aktuell sind, da sie darauf hinweisen, dass im Leben Widerstand so wichtig wie Erkennung der Zweitsinnigkeit der sogenannten Wahrheit ist. Um diese Idee, Ambivalenz und Widerstand selbst besser zu verstehen, werden die Taten dominanter Figuren, Interaktion zwischen ihren, so wie Ergebnisse und ihre Schicksaale betrachtet. Weiterhin werden Werke von berühmten Philosophen und Denker Arthur Schopenhauer, Friedrich Nietzsche und Immanuel Kant, Theologen Edmund Schlink und Psychologen Philip Zimbardo verwendet, um die Ideen zu entwickeln und inneren Kampf der Figuren zu definieren. Zuerst werden in der Arbeit individuelle Figuren, ihre Persönlichkeit und die Perspektive, die sie annehmen, analysiert, was einer der wichtigsten Faktoren, die gesellschaftliche Rolle bestimmen ist. Ego, Hinblick an Leiden, Tugend, Glaube und Benehmen zu den Erwähnten definieren den Mikrokosmos der Menschen, machen das Leben lebenswert. Doch kann einer aus Liebe wirken oder aus Hass, abhängig von der Persönlichkeit, Rolle, Ausbildung und Intellekt der Menschen. Im Mittelpunkt der Arbeit steht die Handlung, die sich oft auf Konflikte bildet. Diese Konflikte bilden sich dann auf Unterschieden und öffnen Wege zur Veränderung. In größerem Maßstab führen die Unterschiede zum Krieg und Zerstörung, was in letzten Abschnitten analysiert wird, genau wie der Zyklus des Chaos und Regeneration. Was man selbst in diesem ständig bewegenden Makrokosmos herausfinden muss, ist wie einer Zufriedenheit und Frieden für sich selbst in eigener Kreativität und eigenem Intellekt finden kann.
Abstract (croatian) Ovaj diplomski rad naglašava važnost obrazovne vrijednosti ambivalencije i otpornosti u djelima Savonarola, albigenžani i Faust Nikolasa Lenaua, poznatog austrijskog pisca, koji je pisao za vrijeme bidermajera. Kao takozvani svjedok istine, pisac ukazuje na problem socijalne cenzure i moguće nejasnoće u raznim okolnostima. Kako bi izbjegao samu cenzuru, Lenau je svakodnevicu prikazao pomoću alegorije i srednjovjekovnih priča te je time prakticirao neizravnu kritiku vlade i društva. Tri djela koja su obuhvaćena u ovom radu vežu se uz priče koje su nastale u različitim razdobljima, ali su njihove teme uvijek aktualne, jer ističu da je u životu otpor jednako važan koliko i prepoznavanje takozvane istine, tj. onoga što percipiramo istinitim. Da bi ova ideja ambivalencije i otpora postala jasnija, razmatra se djelovanje dominantnih figura, njihova interakcija s drugim ljudima kao i njihove sudbine. Nadalje uzimaju se u obzir i djela poznatih filozofa i mislilaca Arthura Schopenhauera, Friedricha Nietzschea i Immanuela Kanta, teologa Edmunda Schlinka i psihologa Philipa Zimbarda, budući da su usko vezana uz samu problematiku percipiranja i prepoznavanja koncepata istine, ambivalencije i otpora. Rad započinje analizom pojedinih likova, njihove osobnosti i njihovog osobnog stajališta u životu, koje je jedno od najvažnijih čimbenika u određivanju društvene uloge pojedinaca. U nastavku se uvode definicije ega, patnje, vrlina, uvjerenja i ponašanja kako bi se bolje razumio mikrokozmos kojime su ljudi okruženi i odgovor na pitanje kako život učiniti vrijednim življenja. Ali čovjek može djelovati iz ljubavi ili mržnje, ovisno o osobnosti, ulozi, obrazovanju i intelektu kojeg ima. Važnom se pokazuje i sama radnja djela, koja se temelji na sukobima. Ti se sukobi formiraju na razlikama i oni otvaraju put promjeni. Razlike među ljudima vode često sukobu i uništenju, ali to nije pravilo, što se analizira kao i sami ciklus kaosa i samoobnove u završnim dijelovima diplomskog. Ono što je potrebno razumjeti vezano za makrokozmosu, koji je konstantno u pokretu i uvijek podložan promjeni, je kako pronaći zadovoljstvo i mir za sebe u kreativnosti i vlastitom intelektu.
Abstract (english) This master's thesis emphasizes the importance of educational value of ambivalence and resilience in works Savonarola, The Albigensians and Faust by Nikolas Lenau, a famous Austrian writer of the Biedermeier period. As a witness of the truth, the writer points out the problem of social censorship and possible ambiguities in various situations. In order to avoid the censorship itself, Lenau wrote about the present through allegorical medieval stories and thus engaged in indirect criticism of the government and society. The three works covered in this thesis are based on stories from different periods of time, whose themes are timeless, as they point out that in life resistance is just as important as the recognition of that which is perceived as the truth. In order to better understand this idea of ambivalence and resistance, deeds of dominant characters in the works, the interaction between them and their destinies are taken as the focal point of the analysis. Furthermore, works and ground ideas of famous philosophers and thinkers Arthur Schopenhauer, Friedrich Nietzsche and Immanuel Kant, theologian Edmund Schlink and psychologist Philip Zimbardo are taken as examples in order to develop the ideas and better define the inner struggle of the characters in Lenaus works. The thesis commences with analysis of individual Characters, their personality and their personal standpoint in life, which is one of the most important factors in determining the social role. Hereafter Ego, suffering, virtue, beliefs and behaviour are defined in order to better understand the microcosm of people and how to make life worth living. But one can act out of love or hatred, depending on individual personality, role, education and intellect. At the centre of the work is the plot, which is often based on conflicts. These conflicts are then formed by differences and they open paths to change. On a larger scale, the differences between people lead them to war and destruction, which is analysed in final sections of the thesis. The cycle of chaos and regeneration is another important matter analysed in final sections. What one has to find out oneself in this ever-moving macrocosm is how to find contentment and peace for oneself in creativity and in intellect.
