Abstract
Nikolas Lenau war ein österreichischer Poet und Schriftsteller. Er hat das Gedicht „Ahasver, der ewige Jude“ geschrieben. Seine Lyrik war melancholisch und pessimistisch wie sein Leben. Er hat seine persönlichen Probleme in seinen Werken übergetragen. Seine psychische Lage war ähnlich wie Ahasvers. An diesem Gedicht hat er vier Jahre geschrieben. Der Begriff „ewige Jude“ stammt aus dem 17. Jahrhundert und später ist dieser Begriff als Ahasver bekannt. Ahasver bedeutet noch „Atheist“ und dieser Termin ist aus der Bibel genommen. In dieser Arbeit werden fünf Identitäten durch das Gedicht bearbeitet. Das sind Geschlechtsidentität, emotionale Identität, religiöse Identität, soziale Identität und Ahasvers Identität. Ahasvers Geschichte hat viel mit den heutigen Status der Juden zu tun. Die Legende sagt, dass wegen seines Benehmens die Juden die Bürde heute tragen. Deswegen ist der Termin Identität mit dem Adjektiv jüdisch oft verbunden.
Abstract (croatian)
Nikolas Lenau je bio austrijski pisac i pjesnik. Napisao je pjesmu „Ahasver, vječni Židov“. Njegova lirika je bila melankolična i pesimistična, baš kao i njegov život. Prenio je svoje osobne probleme u svoja djela. Njegovo psihičko stanje je bilo slično Ahasverovom. Ovu pjesmu je pisao četiri godine. Pojam “vječni Židov” potječe iz 17.stoljeća, a kasnije taj pojam postaje poznat pod nazivom “Ahasver”. Ahasver još znači i ateist, a taj termin potječe još iz Biblije. U ovom radu je obrađeno pet tipova identiteta kroz pjesmu. To su spolni identitet, emocionalni, religiozni, socijalni, i Ahasverov identitet. Ahasverova prošlost je dosta povezana sa današnjim statusom Židova. Legenda kaže da Židovi i danas nose breme radi njegovog ponašanja. Zbog toga je termin identitet često povezan sa pridjevom židovski.
Abstract (english)
Nikolaus Lenau was an Austrian poet and writer. His poem "Ahasuerus, the Eternal Jew", which was written over four years, includes verses that are melancholic and pessimistic, relatable to his own life. He incorporated many of his personal problems within his works which indicates that his mental state was similar to Ahasvers. The term "Eternal Jew" (adapted from Ahasuerus) dates from at least the 17th century, according to the Bible. Ahasver meaning: "atheist.“ In this poem, five main identities are addressed; gender, emotion, religion, social and the identity of Ahasuer. Ahasver's story correlates with the status of the Jewish community today. With the legend stating that because of his behavior the Jewish people continue to carry the burden in the present time. Therefore, the term 'identity' is often associated with the adjective 'Jewish'.
