Abstract
In questa tesi di laurea si analizza la rappresentazione della società nella produzione teatrale di Carlo Goldoni. Il grande riformatore del teatro comico italiano raffigura la società in maniera realistica, portando in scena i personaggi mediocri nella loro quotidianità. Di conseguenza le sue commedie ci forniscono informazioni attendibili sulle condizioni sociali dell’epoca. Studiando i due capolavori goldoniani, La bottega del caffè (1750) e I Rusteghi (1760), si esamina la stratificazione sociale, i vizi principali, rapporti familiari e la condizione femminile. Inoltre si osservano gli atteggiamenti del commediografo nei confronti dei soprannominati argomenti e la critica sociale la quale permea le commedie.
Abstract (croatian)
U ovom diplomskom radu analizira se prikaz društva u dramskim djelima Carla Goldonija. Veliki reformator talijanskog kazališta daje realističnu sliku društva, predstavljajući na sceni prosječne pojedince i njihovu svakodnevnicu. Upravo zbog toga njegove komedije pružaju uvid u stvarne društvene prilike toga vremena. Na temelju dviju uspješnih Goldonijevih komedija, La bottega del caffè (1750) i I Rusteghi (1760), proučava se socijalna stratifikacija, društveni poroci, obiteljski odnosi i položaj žena. Osim toga, prikazuju se stavovi autora prema opisanom stanju u društvu i identificira se socijalna kritika koja prožima ove dvije komedije.
Abstract (english)
This thesis analyses the representation of society in the Goldoni's theatrical output. The great reformer of Italian comedy portrays society in a realistic way, bringing to the stage the everyday life of average individuals. As a result, his plays provide us with reliable information on social conditions at that time. Studying two Goldoni's masterpieces, La bottega del caffè (1750) and I Rusteghi (1760), social stratification, main vices, family relationships and the feminine condition are being examined. In addition, the playwright's attitudes towards those subjects and social criticism that permeates comedies are discussed.
