Abstract
U radu su analizirane pomorske nezgode koje su za posljedicu imale gubitak broda te kritična područja s najvećim brojem pomorskih nezgoda. Ljudski faktor je uzrok oko 80% pomorskih nezgoda i bez obzira na razvoj tehnologije i nove propise koji se odnose na sigurnost na moru taj postotak se već godinama ne smanjuje. U radu ukratko opisani razlozi koji dovode do ljudske greške. Utvrđeno je da su najčešći uzroci ljudske greške: multikulturalnost, podložnost, česte tehnološke promjene te nedovoljno znanje i uvježbanost posade. Utjecaj ljudske greške može se smanjiti poticanjem multikulturnih vrijednosti i međusobnog razumijevanja. Osim toga posebnu pažnju potrebno je posvetiti standardizaciji tehnologije na brodovima, te poštivanju pravnih propisa o satima rada i odmora.
Abstract (english)
The paper analyses the consequences of maritime accidents, primarily ship losing accidents, as well as critical areas with the highest number of accidents occurring. Despite all the technological innovations on ships and new safety regulations, the risk of maritime accidents has not been reduced. Human error is still the cause of around 80% of all maritime accidents. This paper will also analyse the most frequent reasons leading to the human error such as multiculturality, obedience, frequent technological changes as well as lack of the crew’s adequate knowledge and training. Encouraging multicultural values and mutual understanding can reduce the influence of the human error. Furthermore, a special attention has to be given to the technology standardization on board a ship and to following the regulations regarding working hours and rest periods of the crew.
