Abstract In dieser Arbeit wird die Poetik und die Theorie der Ironie in Friedrich Schlegels Roman ,,Lucinde“ verarbeitet.
Abstract (croatian) U ovome radu se obrađuju poetika i teorija ironije u romanu "Lucinde" Friedricha Schlegela.
Abstract (english) In this work, poetics and the theory of irony are processed in Friedrich Schlegel's novel "Lucinde". The first part deals with the analysis of the work by selected chapters of the novel. The second part consists of additional explanations of the analysis, which intends to reflect the irony through different elements. Subsequently, the basic concept of irony is generally presented in more detail. One should ask: how can irony be understood if it's not understandable? The trick is to be affected by the words, whichshould influence the reader. This inner process that takes place in the moments of perception is the most important one. One should not and can not understand the irony. Actually, that's the irony of trying to understand irony. The irony spreads where the period of classic and romanticism merge into each other and the form becomes the priority. Schlegel opens a new way of education through the incomprehensibility and its new creation of universal poetry, because through the incomprehensible, it is possible, with a little help of the mind, to create new perspectives and to reconstruct interpretations, which must not necessarily be equated with the original one. Schlegel calls for individuality, subjectivity, freedom and independence, which is the goal of irony and his work
