In this graduate thesis I will write in detail about the children's film and define the concept of children's film. Also, I will write about the beginnings of the children's film in Croatia. I will thoroughly analyze which children's films were recorded from the beginning of the 1950's to today, and which movies are filmed according to literary works. I am going to write about the film in the classes and the film content prescribed by the HNOS program as well. The aim of this work is to investigate how many students and teachers get acquainted with Croatian cinematography films, and whether they know better films of older or newer productions. The results of the research showed the inaccuracies of the first hypothesis and the accuracy of the second hypothesis. Teachers are well acquainted with Croatian children's films, while children are not well acquainted, especially older film productions.
