Abstract Ovaj diplomski rad posvećen je temi rada s djecom s posebnim potrebama u nasavi matematike u nižim razredima osnovne škole. Tematika ovog rada zhtjvala je sistematizaciju teškoća. Tako smo odredili terminološko određenje pojma djece s teškoćama u učenju. U skladu s temom rada, bilo je potrebno navesti vrste i uzroke specifičnih teškoća u učenju matematike. Pri samoj obradi specifičnih teškoća u učenju – disleksije, disgrafije, diskalkulije, poseban je naglasak stavljen na njihov utjecaj na područje matematike. Navedene su karakteristične pogriješke koje dijete radi u matematici, kako pravilno pristupiti djetetu, na koji način raditi s djetetom kako bi ono iskoristilo i razvijalo svoje mogućnosti. U kontekstu ove teme bilo je potrebno staviti naglasak na važnost učitelja za rad s djecom, kao i njegov utjecaj na matematičku pismenost pojedinca. U posebnom poglavlju predstavljeno je nekoliko različitih didakrtičkih materijala i aktivnosti koji mogu pomoći učiteljima kako na zanimljiv i praktičan način olakšati učenicima usvajanje različitih matematičkih koncepata. U suvremenom svijetu, u kojem tehnologija ima važnu ulogu, pojava tehničkih pomagala u razredu je neizostavna. No, pri uvođenju inovacija u svakodnevnu razrednu uporabu, otvaraju se mnoga važna pitanja. U ovom diplomskom radu, diskutiralo se o opravdanosti korištenja kalkulatora u nižim razredima osnovnih škola u nastavi matematike za učenike s posebnim potrebama. Istaknute su pozitivni i negativni stavovi struke. Uz ovu temu predloženo je nekoliko korisnih aktivnosti pri korištenju kalkulatora u nižim razredima osnovnih škola. U empirijskom dijelu diplomskog rada provedeno je kvalitativno istraživanje. Polustruktuirani intervju proveden je s učiteljicom dugogodišnjeg iskustva rada s djecom s teškoćama i studenticom Učiteljskog studija u Splitu. Cilj istraživanja bio je prikupiti znanja, iskustva i informacije učitelja i studenata u radu s djecom s posebnim potrebama. U završnom dijelu rada predstavljen je individualni plan i program za djecu s teškoćama u učenju u nižim razredima osnovne škole za određene matematičke jedinice.
Abstract (english) In this study we discussed about children with disabilities in primary school Math teaching. According to the theme of this study it was important to classify difficulties. So we gave terminological definition of children with learning disabilities. Furthermore, it was necessary to write something about categories and causes of specific difficulties in the area of Math learning. According to the above, we wrote about dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia. There are listed characteristic mistakes in Math, accurate approach to a pupil, and the properly ways of teaching children to use and develop all their capabilities. In the context of this study it was necessary to highlight the importance of teachers, as well as their influence on mathematical competencies of individual. Several different didactic materials and activities were introduced to help interesting and practical Math teaching. In the modern world, technology has one of the main roles in human life, and today it is infallible as a part of the teaching methods. In this study positive and negative sides of using calculators in Math teaching of children with disabilities were discussed. It also presented some useful ways of using it in primary school teaching. Through the empirical part of this study we made qualitative research. It was semi-structured interview made with the primary school teacher with long experience in work with children with disabilities. Interview was also made with the student of Teacher Education, University of Split. The aim of this study was to collect different knowledge, experiences, and information in teaching of children with disabilities. In the final part of this study, we introduced an individual plan for teaching Math for children with disabilities in primary school education.
