... More Medioevo, gli elementi postmoderni presenti nel romanzo e la semiotica di Umberto Eco. Oltre al contesto teologico, vengono presentati gli altri temi importanti visto che il romanzo offre uno sguardo allegorico sul mondo e sulla lotta tra il bene ed il male. Così, vengono trattati i temi filosofici, geografici, storici, politici, artistici e morali, insieme al paragone tra sacro e profano, nonché l’importanza della comprensione della verità. Questa tesi di laurea avvicina al lettore il senso dei valori umani ed esorta la persona alla riflessione sulla vita umana. Ci mostra che la verità e la giustizia non arrivano sempre dalle fonti che le promuovono. Less Abstract (croatian) Ovaj diplomski rad bavi se biblijskim motivima prisutnima u romanu Ime ruže, posebno obraćajući pozornost na intertekstualnost te naglašavajući posebnosti romana na pripovjednoj razini. Sastoji se od pet poglavlja od kojih su tri temeljna posvećena najvažnijem dijelu ovog diplomskog rada, točnije neizbježnom analitičkom korpusu. ... More o semiotici Umberta Eca. Osim teološkog konteksta, predstavljene su i druge važne teme, s obzirom da roman nudi alegorijski pogled na svijet i na borbu između dobra i zla. Stoga se govori i o filozofskim, geografskim, povijesnim, političkim, umjetničkim i moralnim temama, uključujući usporedbu svetog i profanog, kao i važnost shvaćanja istine. Ovaj diplomski rad čitatelju približava smisao ljudskih vrijednosti te potiče osobu na promišljanje o ljudskom životu. Pokazuje nam kako istina i pravda ne dolaze uvijek od onih izvora koji ih i zagovaraju. Less Abstract (english) This master’s thesis engages in the biblical motifs presented in a novel The Name of the Rose, paying attention especially on intertextuality and emphasizing specialties of novel on a narrative level. A thesis contains five chapters from which three main are dedicated to the most important part of a master’s thesis, more precisely to the corpus indispensable for analysis. ... More about the most important postmodern elements present in a novel and about a semiotics of Umberto Eco. Except theological context, it presents the other important themes, considering that a novel offers an allegoric view on the world and a struggle between good and evil. Therefore, there are also philosophic, geographic, historical, political, artistic and moral themes, including a comparison between sacred and profane, but also an importance of the understanding of the truth. This master’s thesis approaches to the reader a sense of the human values and encourages a person on a reflection about human life.
