Abstract

Parallel abstract (English)
Learning is a process of acquiring knowledge and skills necessary to perform certain tasks, and to communicate with other members of society. Once learning was carried out exclusively by word of mouth and through own experience, but with the appearance of the alphabet and the printing press it got a new dimension. The emergence of media such as newspapers, radio and television further enhanced the learning process, but only the appearance of computers and the Internet has enabled most of the inhabitants of our planet the access to unlimited amount of information and scientific knowledge. Although the libraries and schools were and remained a fundamental scientific and cultural pillars of the society, technological development has enabled a multitude of learning methods available through electronic devices and supplies, and it has created conditions for distance learning, both individually or in groups that are in different and distant locations, their exchange of knowledge, experience and discoveries in real-time regardless of the distance between the members of the group.
