Abstract
Primarni, kontrolni i sekundarni ITLS (engl. International Trauma Life Support) pregledi su ključni za početno zbrinjavanje ozljeđenika, utvrđujemo mehanizam ozljede, traume glave i leđne moždine, prsnog koša, trbuha, ekstremiteta, procjenu i zbrinjavanje šoka. Anesteziološko zbrinjavanje politraumatiziranog bolesnika zahtijeva razumijevanje mehaničke pozadine ozljede i procjenu težine ozljede koje se zbrinjavaju prema prioritetu a sastoji od postupaka reanimacije, anestezioloških postupaka prije i tijekom kirurških zahvata, hemodinamske stabilizacije ozlijeđenog i poslijeoperacijskog nadzora i liječenja. Uspješnost zbrinjavanja ovisi o organiziranom timskom radu.

Parallel abstract (English)
Multiple trauma is an injury in at least two anatomical regions, one life-threatening condition, with consequent systemic inflammatory response that leads to failure of distant organs and vital systems that were not directly injured. Primary, secondary and control ITLS (Eng. International Trauma Life Support) examinations are essential for the initial care of the injured, we determine the mechanism of injury, head trauma and spinal cord, thorax, abdomen, extremities, assessment and management of shock. Anesthesiology care polytraumatised patient requires an understanding of the background of mechanical injury and assessment of the severity of injury which are disposed in order of priority and consists of resuscitation procedures, anesthesia procedures before and during surgery, hemodynamic stabilization injured and postoperative monitoring and treatment. The successful management depends on organized teamwork. The injured undergoing emergency surgery are used anesthetics and anesthetic drugs that will best assist the establishment of hemodynamic stability. Monitoring during anesthesia consists of clinical monitoring of vital signs, non-invasive and invasive monitoring. Healthcare polytraumatised patient begins from the moment of injury, by determining the patient's needs, planning and implementation of interventions, evaluation patients state and lasts until the end of rehabilitation.
