Abstract
Il tema di questa tesi sono le figure femminili nell' opera teatrale di Gabriele D’Annunzio. L'analisi si basa su due tragedie scelte: La Città morta e La Figlia di Iorio. Nella tesi viene presentato un breve riassunto e un'analisi profonda delle due tragedie sopraindicate. L'obiettivo della tesi è di presentare le caratteristiche dei principali personaggi femminili e il modo in cui l'autore li ritrae, incluso i loro conflitti interni e il loro rapporto con gli uomini e la società in cui vivono. Un particolare enfasi è posta sul concetto di vittima e di eroe tragico, le cui azioni portano alla sua tragica fine che sarà mostrata dalla caratterizzazione dei personaggi di Bianca Maria e Mila di Codra. Questi elementi hanno influenzato gli aspetti del loro confronto, da cui si deducono le loro somiglianze e le differenze. Per una migliore comprensione e analisi delle tragedie selezionate, ci soffermiamo anche sulla vita personale dell'autore, poiché la vita e l'opera di D'Annunzio sono caratterizzate dalla presenza delle molteplici amanti che diventano fonte della sua ispirazione.
Abstract (croatian)
Tema ovog diplomskog rada su figure ženskih likova u izabranim dramskim djelima Gabriela D’Annunzia. Analiza rada temelji se na dvije izabrane tragedije: La Città morta i La Figlia di Iorio. U radu se iznosi kratka radnja djela te analiza dviju navedenih tragedija. Cilj rada je prikazati karakteristike glavnih ženskih likova u cjelini te način na koji ih autor portretira, uzevši u obzir njihov unutarnji konflikt te odnos prema muškarcima i društvu u kojem žive. Poseban naglasak je na konceptu žrtve i tragičnog junaka, čiji postupci dovode do njegova tragičnog kraja, što će se prikazati karakterizacijom likova Biance Marie i Mile di Codre. Navedeni elementi uvelike su utjecali na aspekte njihove usporedbe iz koje zaključujemo o njihovim sličnostima i razlikama. Radi boljeg razumijevanja i analize izabranih tragedija, u radu se dotičemo i autorovog osobnog života, budući da velik dio D’Annunzijevog života i djela karakterizira prisutnost višestrukih partnerica koje postaju izvor njegove inspiracije.
Abstract (english)
The topic of this thesis discusses the female figures in selected dramatic work written by Gabriele D’Annunzio. The analysis of the theme is based on two selected tragedies: La Città morta and La Figlia di Iorio. The paper presents a short summary and analysis of the two mentioned tragedies. The aim of the thesis is to present the characteristics of the main female characters and the way the author portrays them, including their internal conflict and their relationship with the men and society in which they live. A special emphasis is placed on the concept of the victim and the tragic hero, whose actions lead to his tragic end, which will be shown by the characterization of Bianca Maria and Mila di Codra. These elements have greatly influenced aspects of their comparison from which we conclude about their similarities and differences. For a better understanding and analysis of selected tragedies, we also touch on the author’s personal life, since D’Annunzio’s life and work is characterized by the presence of multiple women who become a source of his inspiration.
