Abstract
Questa tesi si occupa dell'analisi di esempi di metamorfosi in opere selezionate di Massimo Bontempelli. Per raggiungere con successo questo obiettivo, la tesi è stata concepita nel modo seguente: innanzitutto, è necessario conoscere la vita e le opere dell'autore come uno dei principali rappresentanti del realismo magico. Quindi, è importante presentare il realismo magico includendo la sua origine, lo sviluppo, le caratteristiche in un senso più ampio e le sue peculiarità nella produzione di Bontempelli. Segue inoltre la definizione del concetto di metamorfosi nell'ambito della mitologia e della letteratura, e una breve panoramica di essi nei racconti selezionati del nostro autore. Nell'analisi dettagliata delle metamorfosi selezionate, cercheremo di: darne descrizione e definirne la tipologia, trovare le loro somiglianze principalmente nella mitologia della tradizione greco-romana e scoprirne il valore allegorico.
Abstract (croatian)
Ovaj diplomski rad bavi se analizom primjera metamorfoza u odabranim djelima Massima Bontempellia. Za uspješno ostvarenje ovog cilja, rad je koncipiran na sljedeći način: prvo, potrebno je upoznati se sa životom i djelom autora kao jednog od glavnih predstavnika magičnog realizma. Stoga, važno je prikazati magični realizam uključujući njegov nastanak, razvoj, karakteristike u širem smislu te njegove posebnosti u Bontempellievom stvaralaštvu. Potom slijedi definicija pojma metamorfoza u kontekstu mitologije i književnosti te njihov kratki osvrt u odabranim pričama našeg autora. Detaljnom analizom odabranih metamorfoza pokušat ćemo: opisati i definirati njihovu tipologiju, pronaći njihove sličnosti ponajviše u mitologiji grčko-rimske tradicije te otkriti njihovu alegorijsku vrijednost.
Abstract (english)
This thesis deals with the analysis of examples of metamorphoses in selected works of Massimo Bontempelli. In order to successfully achieve this goal, the work is designed as follows: firstly, it is necessary to get acquainted with the life and work of the author as one of the main representatives of magical realism. Therefore, it is important to present magical realism including its origin, development, characteristics in a broader sense and its peculiarities in Bontempelli’s work. This is followed by a definition of the term metamorphosis in the context of mythology and literature and their brief review in selected stories of our author. Through a detailed analysis of the selected metamorphoses, we will try to: describe and define their typology, find their similarities mainly in the mythology of the Greco-Roman tradition, and discover their allegorical value.
