Abstract | Međunarodni brodski promet može predstavljati javnozdravstveni rizik. Konkretno, raspravlja se o: La Crosse virusnom encefalitisu, virusnom kalifornijskom encefalitisu, Rift Valley virusnoj vrućici, virusnom istočnom konjskom encefalitisu, virusnom zapadnom konjskom encefalitisu, virusnoj Chikungunya vrućici, virusnoj O'Nyong-nyong vrućici, Ross River vrućici, Barmah Forest vrućici, Sindbis virusu, virusnom japanskom encefalitisu, australijskom encefalitisu, St. Louis encefalitisu, West Nile encefalitisu, Dengue vrućici, Žutoj groznici, Zika virusu i malariji.
Odluku o tome koga i protiv čega imunizirati ovisi o postojanju i izloženosti riziku, imunom statusu putnika i učinkovitosti cjepiva. |
Abstract (english) | International sea traffic is a public health risk. In the paper are discussed geographical distribution. Infectious risks, methods of transmission, prevention and treatment of diseases transmitted by mosquitoes and the same diseases in maritime transport. Concretely this paper is about: La Crosse encephalitis, California encephalitis, Rift Valley fever, Eastern equine encephalomyelitis, Western equine encephalomyelitis, Chikungunya, O'Nyong-nyong fever, Ross River fever, Barmah Forest fever, Sindbis, Japanese encephalitis, Australian encephalitis, St. Louis encephalitis, West Nile fever, Dengue fever, Yellow fever, Zika fever and Malaria.
A significant risk of transmission in maritime transport is a infection that can be transmitted by mosquitoes that are found in the ship's cargo. The risk of infection reflects the dynamic relationship between traveler and the environment. The interaction of these factors increase or decrease the risk and responsibility lies with the trained health care professional to interpret such risks. Deciding what advice to give and who to immunize, involves taking a balanced view of thepreexisting immune status of the traveler and the efficiency of the vaccine. Everyone in overseas traveling has to follow health advice which may be obtained from your family doctor or the hygienic-epidemiological service of the County Department of Public Health. |
