Abstract
Rad se bavi istraživanjem jezičnih kompetencija djece u predškolskom programu i prvom razredu osnovne škole. Svrha cjelokupnog rada je analizirati koje konkretne kompetencije djeca trebaju usvojiti tijekom predškolskog programa, te koje kompetencije su im potrebne za upis u prvi razred osnovne škole. Konkretni podatci o potrebnim jezičnim kompetencijama, znanjima i vještinama nalaze se u kurikulumu o ranom i osnovnoškolskom odgoju i obrazovanju, te službenom nastavnom planu i programu za osnovnu školu. Provedeno je anketno istraživanje, a ispitane skupine su odgojitelji, učitelji i roditelji djece predškolaca i osnovnoškolaca. Zaključak samog rada čini usporedba prikupljenih službenih informacija s analizom odgovora anketnog ispitivanja pojedinih skupina o potrebnim jezičnim kompetencijama predškolaca i učenika.

Parallel abstract (English)
The paper examines the language competences of children in preschool program and the first grade of primary school. The purpose of the overall study is to analyze specific competencies that children should adoptduring the preschool program, and which competencies they require to enroll in the first grade of primary school. Specific data on the necessary linguistic competencies, knowledge and skills are found in the curriculum of early and elementary education, and the official curriculum for primary schools. The survey research was conducted, and the study groups are educators, teachers and parents of preschoolers and elementary school students. The conclusion of the paper is the comparison of the collected official information with the survey answers analysis of individual groups on the necessary linguistic competencies of preschoolers and students.
