Abstract | Izazovi suvremenog doba karakteriziraju stalne promjene, a one u svojem dosegu obuhvaćaju i prosvjetnu djelatnost. Rad u prosvjeti uključuje i pedagoge- stručne suradnike koji predstavljaju značajan faktor u radu i djelovanju odgojno-obrazovnih ustanova i njihovih djelatnika. Pedagog predstavlja profil djelatnika s najširim djelokrugom rada čija jer primarna funkcija unaprjeđenje kvalitete odgojno-obrazovnog procesa. U suvremeno doba promijenjena je uloga pedagoga te se napušta njegova tradicionalna uloga kao ravnateljevog pomoćnika te on surađuje sa svim djelatnicima odgojno-obrazovne institucije, ali i roditeljima i učenicima, u svim njegovim fazama te djeluje kao dio stručnog tima škole. Kao rezultat naglih promjena suvremenog doba, odgajatelji i nastavnici često se nalaze na udaru različitih struja. Upravo iz spomenutog razloga potrebna im je potpora u radu kao i kvalitetno vođenje i savjetovanje. U svemu tome pedagog ima ulogu „kritičkog prijatelja“ koji usmjerava, motivira, koordinira i pokreće njihove aktivnosti ka cilju. U ovom radu istražena je tematika uloge pedagoga kao „kritičkog prijatelja“ kroz kvalitativno istraživanje, provedbom intervjua, a cilj je bio ispitati stručne suradnike pedagoge u vrtićima te osnovnim školama o važnosti razvoja, usavršavanja i poboljšanja kompetencija odgajatelja i nastavnika. Dakle, provedeno je sveukupno 12 intervjua sa stručnim suradnicima pedagozima koji rade u vrtićima i osnovnim školama diljem Republike Hrvatske. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su da ono što se nastoji postići u odgojno-obrazovnim institucijama je „zajednica koja uči“ i to kroz multidisciplinarni rad, suradnju te stalna usavršavanja i edukacije. Ranije je spomenuto, a to su potvrdili i sugovornici kako se uloga pedagoga promijenila te imaju širok djelokrug rada koji obuhvaća vođenje i koordinaciju odgojno-obrazovnog procesa te rad sa djelatnicima odgojno-obrazovne institucija, ali i roditeljima, djecom i učenicima. U svojem radu nastoje poticati autonomiju i razvoj kompetencija odgajatelja i nastavnika i to različitim edukacijama, predavanjima i radionicama, ali i aktivno prateći i sudjelujući u njihovom radu. U svemu tome sugovornici iznose da nastoje biti dobri motivatori, dati pohvalu, biti otvoreni novim idejama kao i biti svakodnevno dostupani djelatnicima odgojno-obrazovne ustanove za pomoć i savjet. Ovo istraživanje, iako je provedeno na malom uzorku, osvjetljava važnost pedagoga-stručnog suradnika u odgojno-obrazovnim institucijama kao nezamjenjivog čimbenika u profesionalnom izgrađivanju odgajatelja i nastavnika koji im daje „vjetar u leđa“ i svojom podrškom potiče njihovu intrinzičnu motivaciju u radu. |
Abstract (english) | the educational system. Working in the educational system involves pedagogues – professional associates which are an important factor in the work of the educational institutions and their employees. A pedagogue represents a working profile with the widest scope of work whose primary function is improving the quality of the educational process. In the contemporary age, the traditional role of the pedagogue as the helper of the headmaster has been changed and the pedagogue now collaborates with all the employees of the educational institution but also parents and students in all their phases and it works as a part of the professional team of the school. As a result of the abrupt changes of the contemporary age, educators and teachers often find themselves targeted by different currents. Exactly for this reason, pedagogues require support in their work as well as high-quality leadership and counseling. In all of this, the pedagogue has the role of the "critical friend" that guides, motivates, coordinates, and initiates their activities towards the goal. This paper researched the role of the pedagogue as a “critical friend” through qualitative research, conducting interviews, and the goal was to examine pedagogues, professional associates in kindergartens and elementary schools about the importance of the development, training, and improvement of the educators and teachers’ competencies. A total number of twelve interviews were conducted with the professional associates pedagogues that work in kindergartens and elementary schools across the Republic of Croatia. The results of the research showed that the goal of the educational institutions is a "learning society" which is accomplished through multidisciplinary work, collaboration, and constant training and education. What was earlier mentioned, and is also corroborated by the examinees, is that the role of pedagogues has changed and that now they are involved in a wide scope of work that incorporates leadership and coordination of the educational process and work with employees of the educational institution, but also with parents, children, and students. In their work, pedagogues aim at stimulating autonomy and the development of the competencies of the educators and teachers through different educations, lectures, and workshops, but also by actively following them and participating in their work. In all of the mentioned, the examinees claim to be trying to be good motivators, praise others, be open to the new ideas, but also be available to the employees of the educational institutions for help and support daily. This research, although conducted on a small sample, enlightens the importance of pedagogues – professional associates in educational institutions as irreplaceable factors in the professional construction of the educators and teachers that gives them "wind in the sails" and with their support stimulates intrinsic motivation in their work. |
