Abstract
L'adaptation cinématographique de "Papillon" s'occupe de la comparaison du roman d'Henri Charrière "Papillon", sorti en 1969, du film "Papillon" du réalisateur Franklin J. Schaffner, présenté en 1973, et du film du même nom du réalisateur Michael Noer présenté en 2017. Le but de ce mémoire de master était de déterminer quel film suit le roman de plus près. Après avoir présenté et analysé le roman et les films, suit une analyse des scènes populaires et significatives des films avec des citations du roman. Ensuite, le mémoire contient une comparaison détaillée des scènes du film et de certaines parties du livre, à l'aide d'un schéma actantiel, qui permet d'établir des parallèles entre les rôles des personnages principaux, leurs différences et similitudes dans le texte original et les deux adaptations cinématographiques. Les principales similitudes et différences entre le roman et deux adaptations éponymes sont soulignés à la fin.

Diplomski rad Filmska adaptacija „Leptira“ bavi se usporedbom romana Henria Charrièrea „Papillon“ objavljene 1969. godine, filma „Papillon“ redatelja Franklin J. Schaffnera predstavljenog 1973. godine te istoimenog filma redatelja Michaela Noera predstavljenog 2017. godine. Cilj rada bio je utvrditi koji film vjernije prati roman. Nakon predstavljanja i analize knjige i filmova, slijedi analiza popularnih i značajnijih scena iz filmova povezanih citatima iz knjige. Kroz detaljnu usporedbu scena iz filma i dijelova iz knjige, uz pomoć aktancijalne sheme, povlače se paralele između uloga glavnih likova, njihove razlike i sličnosti u originalnom tekstu i dvijema filmskim adaptacijama. Na kraju rada pregledno su sažete najbitnije sličnosti i razlike romana i dviju istoimenih filmskih adaptacija.
Abstract (english)
Graduate work The film adaptation of "The Butterfly" deals with the comparison of Henri Charrière's novel "Papillon", released in 1969, the film "Papillon" by director Franklin J. Schaffner, introduced in 1973, and the film of the same name by director Michael Noer presented in 2017. The aim of this graduate work was to determine which film more closely follows the novel. After presenting and analyzing the book and films, follows an analysis of the popular and significant scenes from the films related to the quotations from the book. Through a detailed comparison of scenes from the films and parts of the book, with the help of a narrative scheme, parallels are drawn between the roles of the main characters, their differences and similarities in the original text and the two film adaptations. At the end of the work, the most important similarities and differences of the novel and two eponymous movie adaptations are summarized.
