Abstract
Psorijaza je kronična multisistemska upalna bolest koja može zahvaćati kožu, ali i druge organe. Karakterizira je brzi rast stanica epidermisa koje stvaraju ograničena eritematoskvamozna žarišta. Zahvaćena mjesta mogu svrbiti. Bolest najčešće zahvaća područje vlasišta, laktova, koljena, a osim kože mogu biti zahvaćeni i nokti. Bolest je kronično-recividirajuća. Jedna je od najčešćih kožnih bolesti u Hrvatskoj, pogađa 2% populacije i predstavlja veliki javnozdravstveni problem. Psorijaza se ne može izliječiti, ali se terapijom bolest može držati pod kontrolom. Cilj rada je prikazati važnost podizanja svijesti o psorijazi kao javnozdravstvenom problemu, prikazati vrste i učinkovitosti metode terapije, istaknuti važnost uloge medicinske sestre u postupku liječenja i davanja podrške oboljelima.
Abstract (english)
Psoriasis is a chronic multisystem inflammatory disease that can affect the skin, but also other organs. It is caused by the rapid growth of epidermal cells that produce limited erythematosquamous foci. Affected areas may itch. The disease most often affects the scalp, elbows, knees and in addition to the skin, nails can also be affected. The disease is chronic-recurrent. It is one of the most common skin diseases in Croatia, affects 2% of the population and is a major public health problem. Psoriasis cannot be cured, but therapy can keep the disease under control. The aim of this paper is to show the importance of raising awareness about Psoriasis as a public health problem, to show the types and effectiveness of the method of therapy, to emphasize the importance of the role of the nurse in the treatment and support of patients.
