Abstract
Kongenitalne anomalije mokraćnoga sustava s incidencijom od 3-7 na 1000 živorođene djece značajan su uzrok morbiditeta u djece. Čine oko 30% svih kongenitalnih anomalija, a javljaju se kao izolirane promjene ili u sklopu anomalija drugih organskih sustava. Obuhvaćaju široki spektar anomalija bubrega, mokraćovoda, mokraćnog mjehura i mokraćne cijevi, a posljedica su poremećaja u embrionalnom razvoju mokraćnoga sustava uslijed pojave genetske greške ili utjecaja okolišnih čimbenika. Najčešće se manifestiraju simptomima infekcije mokraćnoga sustava. Osnovna dijagnostička metoda u njihovu otkrivanju je prenatalni i postnatalni ultrazvučni probir mokraćnog sustava, a koriste se i brojne druge radiološke pretrage. Terapijski pristup može biti konzervativan ili kirurški.
Abstract (english)
Congenital anomalies of the urinary system with an incidence of 3-7 per 1000 live births are a significant cause of morbidity in children. They make up about 30% of all congenital anomalies and occur as isolated changes or as part of anomalies of other organ systems. They cover a wide range of anomalies of the kidneys, ureters, bladder and urethra, and are the result of disorders in the embryonic development of the urinary system due to the occurrence of a genetic defect or the influence of environmental factors. They are most commonly manifested by symptoms of a urinary tract infection. The basic diagnostic method in their detection is prenatal and postnatal ultrasound screening of the urinary system, and a number of other radiological examinations are used. The therapeutic approach can be conservative or surgical.
