Abstract Die Fähigkeit ein bestimmtes Thema auf eine interessante Art und Weise präsentieren zu können, gewann in den letzten paar Jahren drastisch an Bedeutung. Viele ArbeitsgeberInnen erwarten, dass ihre MitarbeiterInnen über hohe Präsentationskompetenzen verfügen, weswegen viele Kurse zur Entwicklung der Präsentationskompetenz weltweit organisiert werden. Die Wichtigkeit der Präsentationskompetenz wurde auch von Schulen anerkannt. Besonders im Fremdsprachenunterricht werden Präsentationsaufgaben den SchülerInnen gegeben, weil sie einen fachübergreifenden Charakter haben und weil sie eine längere Sprechzeit in der Fremdsprache von den SchülerInnen verlangen. Nach dem Abschluss der Sekundarausbildung sollten die SchülerInnen über eine gute Präsentationskompetenz in der deutschen Sprache verfügen, sodass sie die während des Studiums weiterentwickeln können. Diese Diplomarbeit erforscht, ob die Deutschstudierenden während ihrer Sekundarausbildung ein Grundwissen über Präsentationstechniken erlangen habe, sowie auch wie sie ihre jetzige Präsentationskompetenz, die Präsentationskompetenz ihrer KollegInnen und die Qualität der Abteilung von Germanistik der Universität Zadar in Bezug auf die Förderung der Weiterentwicklung der Präsentationskompetenz bewerten. Zu diesem Zweck wurde eine Umfrage unter Deutschstudierenden des ersten Jahrgangs des Bachelor-Studiums durchgeführt.
Abstract (croatian) Vrijednost sposobnosti predstavljanja određene teme na zanimljiv način drastično je porasla u posljednjih nekoliko godina. Mnogi poslodavci očekuju od svojih zaposlenika visoke prezentacijske vještine, zbog čega se u cijelom svijetu organiziraju tečajevi za razvoj prezentacijskih vještina. Škole su također prepoznale njihovu važnost. Posebno se na satovima stranih jezika učenicima daju zadaci izrade prezentacije, jer su takvi zadaci često multidisciplinarnog karaktera, te zahtijevaju od učenika duže vrijeme govorenja na stranom jeziku. Po završetku srednjoškolskog obrazovanja studenti bi trebali imati dobre prezentacijske vještine na njemačkom jeziku kako bi ih mogli tijekom studija dodatno usavršavati. Ovaj diplomski rad istražuje jesi li studenti njemačkog jezika stekli osnovno znanje o tehnikama prezentiranja tijekom srednjoškolskog obrazovanja, kao i kako ocjenjuju svoje trenutne prezentacijske vještine, prezentacijske vještine svojih kolega i kvalitetu Odjela za njemački jezik i književnost Sveučilišta u Zadru obzirom na poticanje daljnjeg razvoja prezentacijskih vještina. U tu je svrhu provedena anketa među studentima prve godine njemačkog jezika.
Abstract (english) The ability to present a particular topic in an interesting way has drastically gained in importance in the past few years. Many employers expect their employees to have highly developed presentation skills, which is why many courses aimed at developing the presentation skills are organized worldwide. The importance of presentation skills has also been recognized by schools. In foreign language classes in particular, presentation tasks are given to students because of their multidisciplinary character and because they require students to speak longer in the foreign language. After completing their secondary education, students should have good presentation skills in the German language so that they can further develop them during their university education. This graduate thesis explores whether students of the German language have acquired basic knowledge of presentation techniques during their secondary education, as well as how they assess their present presentation skills, the presentation skills of their colleagues and the quality of the Department of German Studies at the University of Zadar in terms of promoting the further development of presentation skills. For this purpose, a survey was conducted among first year undergraduate students of the German language.
