Abstract

Parallel abstract (English)
In this paper, 96 objects were covered. Most objects were found in the river Kupa near Sisak in the late 19th and at the beginning of the 20th century during dredging of the river Kupa. Two items were found in sites near Sisak – one in Petrinja and the other one in Brest Pokupski. Bronze plastic has variotions in the quality of making, preservation, origin, dimensions etc. Itmes of better quality are usually considered to be imported from elsewhere and for those of lower quality to be made in some of the local workshops. It is assumed that lower quality items were made in one of the workhops in Siscia. The material is, on the base of the function, divided into three basic groups – 1. Statuets, 2. Utility objects, which are divided in 2.1. Decorative elements of the utility objects and 3. Objects of undefined use. Every division and subdivision are extra divided according to the portraits on the items, which are recuring. Those portraits are – mythological, anthropomorphic, animal, herbal and other portraits. Most items belong in the group of objects of undefined use, while various mythological portraits dominate in the category of portraits.
