Abstract

Parallel abstract (English)
Decision-making is most often defined as a choice of the one of several alternatives. We always try to choose the alternative that best fits the set objectives. Process of decision making is divided into several phases: identification and determination of the problem, designing alternatives, selection and implementation of one of the alternatives. Given the fact that a decision-making environment is subject to change, the requirements set before decision-makers are more demanding than ever. In such, contemporary conditions, the process of collecting, analyzing and selecting data and information for the purpose of making quality decisions is becoming more complex. The main purpose of this paper was to show what role have the intuitive and the rational approach at decision-making and why it is important their integration. The study confirmed that a combination of intuition and logic resulting with more qualitive decisions, butonly intuition makes decision process more faster.
