Abstract
Deficit pažnje/hiperaktivni poremećaj (eng.Attention Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder, ADHD) je razvojni poremećaj s izraženim indikatorima nepažnje i/ili hiperaktivnosti – impulzivnosti. Problem djece s ADHD-om sve je prisutniji u svakodnevnom životu. Javlja se kod 5 – 7% školske djece. Takvoj djeci narušeno je funkcioniranje kod kuće i u školi. Problemi djece s ADHD-om dolaze do izražaja u školi, te im je potrebna pomoć obitelji i učitelja. Djeca često gube samopouzdanje i nisu motivirana. Učitelji moraju znati kako pomoći djetetu i pružiti mu podršku. Takva djeca trebaju posebnu pažnju i potrebno je provoditi učinkovite metode rada. Cilj diplomskog rada je ispitati učinkovite metode u radu s hiperaktivnom djecom iz perspektive učitelja. U sklopu rada, provedeno je istraživanje kojim je potvrđeno pet hipoteza koje su definirane na početku rada. Kao mjerni instrument korišten je anketni upitnik kojim su ispitana mišljenja učitelja razredne nastave.

Attention Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder, ADHD is a developmental disorder marked by symptoms of inattentiveness and/or hyperactivity – impulsivity. The problem of children with ADHD is on the rise in everyday life. It is reported with 5 to 7 percent of school children. These chidren have problem in functioning either at home or at school. Problems with children with ADHD manifest mostly at school and need help from both family and teachers. The chidren often lose confidence and lack in motivation. Teachers need to know how to help and support the child. These chidren require special attention and effective working methods. The aim of this thesis is to examine the effective methods of working with hyperactive children from the perspective of teachers. As part of the thesis, a research was conducted, which confirmed five initialy defined hypothesis. A questionnaire was used as an instrument of providing opinions of primary school teachers.
