Abstract
U upalne bolesti crijeva spadaju Crohnova bolest i ulcerozni kolitis. Kroničnog su i nepredvidivog tijeka. Crohnova bolest je nepoznatog uzroka, i može se javiti u bilo kojem dijelu probavnoga sustava. Obzirom na tijek i simptome koje bolest donosi, kvaliteta života bolesnika je ozbiljno narušena. Srećom, danas postoji biološka terapija koja uvelike pridonosi boljoj kvaliteti života oboljelih od ove bolesti.
Abstract (english)
Inflammatory bowel diseases include Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. They are chronic and unpredictable. Crohn's disease is of unknown cause and can appear in any part of the digestive system. Given the course and symptoms that this disease brings, the quality of life is seriously imparied. Fortunately biological therapy greately contributes to a better life for people suffering from this disease.
