Abstract
Pomorski robni tokovi imaju glavnu ulogu u razmjeni dobara.

Maritime cargo flows play a major role in the exchange of goods. Through the exchange of goods between the ports cargo flows affect industrial, economic and traffic development of countries. Regarding the sort of goods being transported in maritime transport 3 sorts of transport can be distinguished: multimodal, intermodal and combined transport. Harbors represent a major hub of maritime cargo flows. With the development of maritime traffic ports have become the main transportation, industrial and trading centers in which goods are exchanged. Strategic elements of maritime cargo flows are maritime routes and corridors, ports, channels, straits, merchant fleet and cargo ie goods. Maritime transport is the most important market for the global flow of goods. As much as 85% of international trade, ran by sea in 2015. The overall trade maritime traffic amounted to 10.7 billion tons and 1.46 tons per capita. The most important cargo flows are liquid, dry bulk and container cargo flows. World Maritime market is usually divided into three types: free, line and tanker shipping. For the international exchange of goods in maritime transport Incoterms are of great importance. The global economy and transportation system are of dual nature and are interdependent.
