Abstract Pitanje moći i vodstva u poslovnom komuniciranju je zaintrigiralo mnoge teoretičare koji su istraživali i analizirali ovo područje. Vodstvo i moć su pojmovi koji se javljaju još u doba grčkih filozofa. Moć je pojam koji, poput vodstva, ima brojne definicije, a jedna od njih je da je to sposobnost pojedinca ili skupina da potaknu ili utječu na vjerovanja ili djelovanja drugih pojedinaca ili skupina. Postoji pet izvora moći, a to su: legitimna, nagradna, prisila, stručna i pripisana.
Razvile su se brojne teorije vodstva. Jedna od prvih teorija, koja nikad nije bila empirijski dokazana, je bila teorija velikih ljudi ili teorija osobina. Ona je tvrdila da se čovjek raa kao voa na temelju svojih fizičkih i psihičkih karakteristika. Nakon istraživanja osobina, teoretičari su se okrenuli istraživanju ponašanja voe. Bihevioralni pristup ima više stilova vodstva. Na kraju se razvila i kontingencijska teorija koja je uvela i situacijski čimbenik u definiranju stilova vodstva. Suvremeni pristup vodstva objedinjuje sve teorije, uzimajući u obzir sve faktore. Tijekom vremena su se razvili još neki pristupi. Neki od njih su pristupi temeljni na vještinama, timsko vodstvo, teorija razmjene izmeu voe i članova i psihodinamski pristup. Unatoč tome što su se u početku miješali pojmovi vodstvo i menadžment, s vremenom je objašnjena i definirana razlika izmeu njih. Menadžment je širi pojam od vodstva jer je vodstvo samo jedna od funkcija menadžmenta. Žene su se ranije borile s preprekama staklenog stropa, koji ih je sprječavao u penjanju na vodeće pozicije. Istraživanjima se pokušalo objasniti koji je razlog tome. Unatoč poteškoćama, neka istraživanja pokazuju da su žene bolje voe od muškaraca. Etičnost se pojavljuje u svim sferama života pa tako i u moći i vodstvu. Postoje načela koja vou čine uspješnima i etičnima. Tema ovog završnog rada zaključena je primjerima dobrog vodstva u svijetu, kojima se objedinjuje sve o čemu se pisalo u prethodnim poglavljima.
Abstract (english) The question of power and leadership in business communication has intrigued many theorists who have researched and analyzed this field. Leadership and power are concepts that emerged in the era of Greek philosophers. Power is a term that, like leadership, has many definitions, and one of them is that it is the ability of an individual or group to instigate or influence the beliefs or actions of other individuals or groups. There are five sources of power, namely: legitimate, rewarding, coercive, expert, and imputed. Numerous leadership theories have developed. One of the first theories that has never been empirically proven was the theory of great men or the theory of traits that claimed that man is born a leader based on his physical and psychological characteristics. After exploring the traits, theorists turned to exploring leader behavior. Behavioral approaches have multiple leadership styles. Eventually, a more contingency theory developed that introduced a situational factor in defining leadership styles. The modern leadership approach integrates all theories, taking into account all factors. Over time, other approaches have evolved, some of them skills-based approaches, team leadership, leader-member exchange theory, and a psychodynamic approach. Although the concepts of leadership and management were initially mixed, the differences between them were explained and defined over time. Management is a broader term than leadership because leadership is only a function of management. The women had previously struggled with the obstacles of the glass ceiling, which prevented them from climbing into leadership positions. Research has tried to explain why. Despite the difficulties, some research shows that women are better leaders than men. Ethics appears in all fields of life including power and leadership. There are principles that make a leader successful and ethical. The theme of this final paper concludes with examples of good leadership in the world, which brings together everything that has been written in previous chapters.
