Abstract Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija definira nedonošče, kao dijete rođeno prije 37.
One prisustvuju porodu, mjere težinu i dužinu
novorođene djece, obavljaju higijenu i prate njihovo zdravlje. One također sudjeluju u
edukaciji roditelja o skrbi novorođenčadi i dojenju.
Intenzivna skrb zahtijeva oštre vještine praćenja i posebnu brigu odmah nakon rođenja.
Tipični zadaci uključuju uspostavu i održavanje i.v.kanile, upravljanje ventilatorom, procjenu
vitalnih znakova i vađenja krvi.
djeteta.
Važan aspekt uloge je dati savjet, smjernice i podršku roditeljima. Medicinske sestre rade
zajedno s medicinskim sestrama višeg stupnja obrazovanja i liječnicima,te olakšavaju
planove liječenja i preglede.
Abstract (english) The World Health Organization has defined premature baby as a child born before 37
weeks of pregnancy,or before the 259th day of pregnancy, with birth weight less than 2500
grams. Neonatal nurses provide complete care for babies .
Duties of a neonatal nurse usually include supplying vital nutrients to newborns, changing
feeding tubes, administering medication, observing vital signs, performing intubations and
using monitoring devices. They attend deliveries, weigh and measure infants, bathe them and
monitor their health. They also teach new parents about newborn care and breastfeeding.
Intensive-care nursing demands sharp monitoring skills and special care immediately after
birth. Typical duties include starting and maintaining IV lines, managing ventilators,
assessing vital signs and drawing blood. Neonatal nurses work with needles, feeding pumps,
incubators and ventilators
This means neonatal nurses must keep current with the latest instruments, procedures and
research through continuing education.
Large role in determining the further development off small organism has rapid and effective
resuscitation, and there for it is important to know the rules and all steps of resuscitation of
premature newborn.
An important aspect of the role is to give advice, guidance and support to parents
Neonatal nurses work together with upper-level nurses and physicians and facilitate treatment
plans and examinations. New parents also require special care during this time, so neonatal
nurses are in frequent contact with worried families.
They have regular interaction with their parents, so it is necessary to educate them about the
state of their child and prepare instructions for care after discharge from hospital.
