Abstract
U radu se promišlja o mjestu zavičajnih nastavnih sadržaja u nastavi hrvatskoga jezika. Naglašava se važnost poučavanja o zavičajnom govoru i s pomoću zavičajnog govora. Pritom se ne zanemaruje osnovni cilj nastave hrvatskoga jezika, a to je usvajanje jezičnog standarda. Položaj zavičajnoga govora u nastavi ovisi o nastavnom planu i programu kao temeljnom školskom dokumentu, ali i o učiteljima/učiteljicama, nositeljima primarnoga obrazovnog procesa. U radu se provodi ispitivanje o zastupljenosti zavičajnih nastavnih sadržaja u nastavi hrvatskoga jezika, stavovima učitelja/učiteljica o potrebi njegovanja zavičajnoga govora te uvođenja dodatnih zavičajnih nastavnih sadržaja u obrazovni proces. Također je istraženo učeničko razumijevanje sadržaja pisanog njihovim zavičajnim idiomom, kao i njihovi interesi o češćoj uporabi takvih sadržaja u nastavi.

Parallel abstract (English)
The thesis explores the place of homeland educational contents within the context of Croatian language classes. Emphasis is put on the importance of teaching about the homeland language and on use of the homeland language in class. Meanwhile, the main goal of the Croatian language classes, i.e. learning the standard language is not disregarded. Position of the homeland language in classes depends not merely on curriculum (crucial school document), but on the teachers (who carry out the primary educational process) as well. The thesis is based on the research of presence of the homeland educational contents in the Croatian language classes, attitudes of the teachers concerning the need for cultivation of the homeland language and the necessity of implementation of additional educational contents in the educational process. Finally, pupil’s comprehension of the content written in their homeland idiom and their interests of frequent use of such contents in classes were researched as well.
