Abstract
U hrvatskoj se književnosti krajem šezdesetih godina 20. st. javlja skupina mladih autora, tzv. fantastičara, među kojima je bio i Pavao Pavličić (rođen u Vukovaru, 1946.). Branimir Donat ih u svojem eseju „Astrolab za hrvatske borgesovce“ (1972.) naziva borgesovcima ističući argentinskoga pisca Jorgea Luisa Borgesa kao ključnog autora u formiranju proze ove skupine hrvatskih fantastičara. Međutim, Pavao Pavličić se, kao i većina naših fantastičara, ograđuje od etikete borgesovca te osporava... More Borgesov utjecaj. Stoga se ovim književnokomparatistički aspektiranim radom nastoje prikazati sličnosti (postupno uvođenje elemanata začudnosti, reduktivnost, pandeterminizam i metafizičke analogije na tematološkoj razini, tajna povezanost između svega u svijetu, iznenadni preokreti, jezik kao tema, intertekstualnost), odnosno razlike u fantastičnoj prozi Pavla Pavličića i Jorgea Luisa Borgesa analizirajući Pavličićeva djela Lađa od vode (1972.) i Koraljna vrata (1990.) te Borgesove najpoznatije zbirke pripovijesti Izmišljaji (1944.) i Aleph (1949.). Abstract (english)
During the late 1960s a group of young authors occured in Croatian literature – the so-called fantastičari (fantastic writers); it included Pavao Pavličić (b. in Vukovar, Croatia, in 1946). In his essay "Astrolab za hrvatske borgesovce" (1972) Branimir Donat called those authorsBorgesians pointing out the Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges as the key and model author in forming the prose of this group of Croatian writers. However, Pavao Pavličić, like most fantastic writers, disassociates... More himself from the Borgesian label and neglects the influence of Borges on his, Pavličić's prose. Therefore, this work tries to show similarities (the gradual introduction of strange elements, reductiveness, pandeterminism and metaphysical analogy at the thematic level, secret connectivity between everything in the world, sudden reversal, language as a theme, intertextuality) and differences in the prose of Pavao Pavličić and Jorge Luis Borges by analyzing Pavličić's novels Lađa od vode (1972) and Koraljna vrata (1990) and Borges' most famous collection of short stories Fictions (1944) and The Aleph (1949).
