The aim of this study was to examine the correlation of personality dimension with school success, then examine whether there are differences in measured variables - personality dimensions and school success with regard to gender of students and examine content satisfaction with regard to invested effort in learning and performing school tasks and completed grades in the semester. The study involved 305 fourth-grade primary school students aged 10 to 11 years. The research was conducted in elementary schools in the Zadar County and the city of Požega. For the purpose of answering research questions, a questionnaire for measuring personality traits (PBPS-C v2 Marta Maćkiewicz, Jan Cieciuch, 2011) applied neuroticism, extraversion, conscientiousness, agreeableness and openness to experience. As a measure of school success, the final grades of the Croatian language, the math and overall success (average rating) were taken. Satisfaction with school success and effort has been estimated by choosing one of the claim. The results of the research did not show a statistically significant correlation of the personality dimension with the school's success. Furthermore, given the gender of the students, it has been shown that the girls have a better overall school achievement and a final grade in the Croatian language than the boys. In the analysis of the correlation of satisfaction with grades in terms of the effort invested in learning and performing the school tasks and the completed grade in the semester, there was a significant positive correlation between the satisfaction of the student considering the effort invested and the completed grades in the Croatian language and mathematics and overall success. In other words, a significant correlation of satisfaction with school achievement has been found given the amount of effort invested in learning and performing their school assignments.
