Abstract
Tema ovog rada su ceste na području antičke Salone. Obrađene su ceste u ageru Salone te one koje su vodile do gradova u neposrednoj okolici (Tragurij, Klis, Epetij, Spalato) i prema unutrašnjosti Carstva. Povoljan geografski položaj i dobra cestovna povezanost pogodovale su brzom i nesmetanom razvoju Salone. Razvojem grada i porastom broja stanovnika Salona se morala širiti izvan svojih zidina čime je dio cesta koje su do tad vodile prema okolnim gradovima postao dio gradske cestovne mreže. O postojanju cesta i njihovim trasama govore nam nekrople koje su se razvile uz glavne cestovne pravce i miljokazi pronađeni uz ceste. Na području grada Salone pronađena su četiri miljokaza, a na Klisu tri. Brojni arheolozi istraživali su te ceste, a najvažniji su: Frane Bulić, Luka Jelić, Simon Rutar, Nenad Cambi, Dražen Maršić i Željko Miletić.
Abstract (english)
The topic of this paper are roads in the area of ancient Salona. Discussed are roads in the ager of Salona, the ones that led to the towns in the immediate vicinity (Tragurium, Klis, Epetium, Spalato) and the ones that led towards the heartland of the Empire. Favorable geographical position and good road conectivity favored to the rapid and unobtrustive development of the city. With development of the city and an increase of the population Salona had to expand outside of its walls which meant the roads that used to lead to the nearby towns became a part of the city's road network. Necropolis that developed along the main roads and milestones found on them can confirm the existence of the roads and their paths. Four milestones were found in the city of Salona and three in Klis. Numerous archaeologists have explored these roads and most important are: Frane Bulić, Luka Jelić, Simon Rutar, Nenad Cambi, Dražen Maršić, Željko Miletić.
